I have been going to Kayla since April getting a Russian manicure and structured manicure on my natural nails. Every time I had gone my nails were lifting and peeling by week one week two when these nails are supposed to last three weeks. I had asked other people who went to other salons and claimed that's not supposed to happen and they've never had that issue I figured to try something new to give my nails a break and add more strength to them. The last time I went I wanted to get gel-x nails I had seen Kayla always with them and liked the added structure it gave and how natural and neat they looked. Unfortunately I was not pleased at all with the results I had. The pictures provided below is what they allowed me to leave the salon looking like, keep in mind Kayla has moved up to a level 2. I asked for a gel x French design with was an additional $26 and was told since I was not getting a design that I would be getting a refund when I looked at the email that they sent me it showed a total refund of 114 was being given back. I thought that was fitting since the quality of my nails was subpar, but Ive come to realize they've only given me a refund for the design since I did not get it and was still charged $88 for level two gel Nails when I received level zero gel nail quality. Not to mention the refunds are only store credit so you never actually get your money back you have to come back and use the credit at their store. I also never received another email showing that they were going to charge me the $88 that they claimed I received. I showed them the email of getting a full refund back and they claimed they needed to give the full refund back to be able to give the $26 credit and still charged me 88 when there is no email proof of such charge. I work in a hospital and because of that I had to remove these nails as soon as I got home because this was not appropriate for work. Keep in mind I had work that same night I was in the salon for hours and then needed another 2 hours to remove these nails so I also never got any sleep before work because of this. Read moreOk first I'm going to start with the fact that its location sucks and has no parking at all, it's metered street parking.. luckily I found a spot in front. So I usually get to my appointments 5-10 mins early because I hate being late.. Natalie (the only person working and owner) doesnt even look up from what she's doing OR at least say "Hi I'll be right with you.." So about 25 mins AFTER my appointment time she's finally done and checks the client out.. She literally starts eating McDonalds at the front desk on her phone WHILE IM IN HER CHAIR WAITING..
I sit down, explain what I wanted and let her work.. never did she try and talk to me, or smile..I felt like I inconvenienced her. I got coffin acrylics, with matte black and red chrome nails (2 chrome & 3 matte on each hand) My nails came out okay but not worth the $80 bill I got.
I was really surprised honestly, she charged me extra for the chrome, extra for the matte, extra for NOT having her do my nails last time, extra for using gel polish on top of acrylics ( like does anyone get nail polish on them??????)
Not going back.

i have been getting my toes done by natalie for the past few months and every time i book my appt she sends me a text asking me if i am willing to come at a different time. literally EVERY appt. it’s not 15 minutes sometimes it’s hrs difference between times. after finally being annoyed because i book the time that works for my schedule i simply asked why she continuously asks me to change my appt time and if the time i booked isn’t suitable why is it on the booking site. i was not rude and felt it was a legitimate question as a paying customer especially when her prices are already expensive as it is. she gives me this bs answer that didn’t even answer my question so fed up i just cancel my appt and decide to go someplace else. she then goes to send me a text saying she can no longer service me as a client. like how do you fire me when you are in the wrong as a business owner.
anyways very unprofessional. not personable. overpriced. gladly spending my money...
