Wine & Design — Attraction in Rahway

We came to Wine and Design in Rahway last night to celebrate my cousins birthday. The painting itself was fun and easy to follow along, but the contagiously electric environment created by our host artist, Amanda truly made the experience memorable. There was another larger birthday party there that, by the end of the night, was laughing right along with us in fun conversation. In a world where in-person interaction has been severely limited by the ever-present distraction of technology, Wine and Design offered a refreshingly comfortable and welcoming social environment that was perfect for our night out. As people who would definitely not consider ourselves artistic, Amanda made the painting super easy to follow. She provided great encouragement and was always there to provide help if we needed it. We will most definitely be back, thank you Wine and Design and Amanda for a great birthday experience!

So I’ve been here before and had the best time so I can’t again and brought my family, it was so unorganized and the instructor was wayyyyyyy to professional like she painted a master piece which was to me a littler ridiculous no one could follow along or do what she was doing the picture she painted was completely different then what was advertised. I get she’s an artist and wants to be different which I respect personally but not when you’re teaching people who do not paint.

I’m sad because I really loved my first experience. Also when I first came the made a big deal about the birthday girl and let her take a free painting from the pile so I took my mom here for her birthday and they didn’t even say a word or let he take a free painting.

Very disappointed, but in their defense I found out the owners were away. I guess this place falls apart...

I recently attended a chunky blanket making class at Wine and Design in Rahway, and it was an absolute delight!
