Maybe I should have read other reviews before we stopped here. I was heading back from Costco and this park was in between were I was, and where I was going. I had to use the bathroom really badly, so I was looking forward to going, and then enjoying some outside time with my boys. Unfortunately, they close the bathrooms in the winter. :/ I get that they are trying to keep people out that shouldn't be in there.. but I guess we are supposed to tell or bodies, "sorry, you don't get to use the toilet in the winter." Tell your kids that, and let me know how it works out for ya! With that said, the park is actually very fun and large, and fenced in. It has lots of options for the kiddos to play with and on. I love the tables out front, and paved greenway around it. I usually really like this park.. but will probably visit other ones during the winter.

The playground is divided in two areas surrounded by a fence. This is great for very fast toddlers who sometimes have selective hearing. The tennis courts seem to maintained decently. However, the reason for the 4 stars is that the bathrooms aren't very well maintained. At least when we were there.

This is a great park - there's a soccer field, a pond, picnic shelters, tennis courts, playgrounds, and tables with chess/checkers. City soccer leagues play their games here, and you can reserve the picnic shelters or the field for private use.

Great park tucked up in a neighborhood. The play area is fenced in which is great for the toddlers. There are two seperate play structures one for the 2-5 age range and another for the 5-12. The ground around the structures is rubber mat. Its nicely shaded and has several benches around the gated area. There are swings, slides, monkey bars, a sandbox and a few other small structures. There is also a bathroom tucked behind the main building next to the parking lot, which is a must for a playground to get 5 stars in my book. This would also be a great place for a picnic either on a blanket in the field or at one of the picnic tables just outside the gated play area. Definitely a park to put in...

This park is excellent, especially for the 5 and under crowd. It’s the only park I’ve been to in this area that has a fence all the way around the playground and a gate that latches. What a fabulous idea! It’s also one of the only ones I’ve found that is almost fully shaded! Since moving here from a much cooler climate, the question I’ve been asking over and over is “why don’t they have shaded playgrounds?!” 🤣 and Eastgate not only has shade but is almost completely surrounded by beautiful trees and the lovely sound of birds singing. Wish I had found this place a lot earlier but I will definitely be back now that I know about it. Highly recommend for moms of toddlers/preschoolers on the...
