Toastique — Restaurant in Raleigh

Cute concept in Midtown. Staff is welcoming and kind. It's very clean and the menu is simple. Everyone's toast options were served on a small wooden board and they were works of art! Beautiful! The gold flatware just added another touch of beauty. Everyone said that their food was delicious! The menu is somewhat limited. Mostly toasts and smoothies, although there is a cooler with some pre-made salads that were nice. The high, open ceilings make it a little loud. Toastique is located on the first floor of an office building. There is a free parking deck behind and some curbside parking in front. The building still has a little construction going on outside. Once he building is full of tenants, there may be more competition for parking. All in all, a cute concept and we wish Kristy, the owner, all the success...

I had the pleasure of being served by Kristi, one of the owners. I couldn't decide what to order because everything looked so good, she was so patient and helpful. I ended up ordering a three cheese Italian, a protein waffle, a kid's peanut butter and jelly, and a array of smoothies to taste test with the kids. Everything was perfect and I was lucky if I got more than one sip from each smoothie before my kids downed them.

I also got a heartthrob juice to go - was floored to learn that there's no added sugar in any of their juices. It was ahhhhmazzing!

The staff I interacted with during my visit - Kristi, Iryna, and Maxine - are truly rocking it.

Will be back soon and will make sure to grab one of their granola bars and one of their peanut...

Posting a review because of the SMOOTHIES. I really wanted to hate on this place for the absurd prices, but I understand they use more expensive/higher quality ingredients.

I still think the toast stuff is overpriced and prolly won't come back for that. ($22 for a small smoothie and one sliver of toast with hummus and veggies) If you got $$ like that and want those insta-worthy type plates, this is the place for you.

But the smoothies!!!! I'm a smoothie snob and this may well be the best smoothies I've had in Raleigh. I got the orange crush and it was the perfect balance of flavors, perfectly creamy smooth. Not chunky, icy, or too watery like...
