Overall I definitely think this place is worth it and I would recommend.

Pros: super friendly, make sure they ask after every single thing they do that you like it, good quality, etc.

Cons: pricing is a little odd, felt rushed (but I think it was partially on me)

When I went everyone was friendly and got me back right away (i had an appointment). I got the lavender pedicure and I thought it was nice and good value. The girl doing them was funny and nice and I loved her vibe.

This is where I felt a bit rushed. The person who was doing my nails asked to start them while I was getting a pedicure. I felt that was a little odd but said yes. She put the tips on and then cut them which I thought was going to be it. But then she kept going and put the acrylic on and started buffing... I just felt like I couldn't really enjoy my pedicure but also think it was on me for not saying no I'd like to relax. I definitely will say it next time but I just wanted to say it because I did think it was odd.

The pricing was a little odd. She said $15 extra for gel polish but then when I said regular it was $10 less. She said it's a $5 upcharge for polish in general. I asked and she confirmed multiple times that a full set does NOT come with ANY polish (regular or gel). I just thought that was super bizarre and I've never heard of that before. I don't know anyone who'd get a full set with absolutely no polish so I wish they'd have just had that on the pricing. The other upcharges for the french tip, design, and shape are pretty standard.

The person who did my nails was very nice. She worked with me to get exactly what i wanted. The only other odd comment was I noticed one of the nails was crooked and said something and she said "my eyesight is good. Yours is seeing its crooked" which felt a little off but she did end up fixing it without a bunch of back and forth. The comment just took me off guard but again overall she was very nice and worked with me to get exactly what I wanted.

The quality of the nails feels good and sturdy. I will go back and would recommend to others.

Nails were $76 and lavender...

This review is strictly about the lack of customer service. So today I went in to have my nails repaired for thee 2nd time since Saturday due to my gel polish peeling off. I got my nails done and as always Mrs. V does a great job and is always sweeter than sweet but this go around there was an issue with the polish not the craftsmanship of the nails( never had an issue with lifting). I went to have my nails repaired on Wednesday, come Thursday I’m back to get my nails repaired AGAIN! This time I was met with attitude and just poor customer service from the owner whom as never had the pleasure of doing my nails. I asked if I can change my polish to a different brand, similar color, I was informed that polish changes aren’t free but repairs are………… ( this was a repair) The owner proceeded to instruct me on how to hold my nails under the light as if I haven’t been getting my nails done for 20 +years. It’s okay to admit you messed up and it’s okay to admit that sometimes you may have bad polish. Asking for a different brand same color is simply asking for a repair( not bedazzled nails) that’s supposed to be free especially if I’m experiencing peeling. The fact that I had to return twice in a matter of 5 days taps into MY time but the insult is being met with an uncalled for attitude for something that costs you nothing to repair!! No apology, no customer service but a lot of...

Save your money!!! If I could rate this place a "Zero" stars, I would due to the unnecessary, deflective, passive aggressive attitude, and unprofessional customer service of ONE person...the young lady named Thao. She is incompetent and can NOT be wrong or corrected...even though you're the paying customer who is not happy with the work and service. Make that make sense....???? I guess We as customers are just supposed to accept whatever MESS of a job that she decides to give to us and be happy to give her our money just because her name is THAO. I guess the attitude is to intimidate people from correcting her??? Pay her to have an attitude with me...Ithink NOT!!! Simple people have much attitude to disguise the inability to effectively communicate. If your livelihood depends on returning customers and building relationship, you would think she would be smart enough to figure out how to properly conduct business. She needs to change careers before she causes that shop to permanently close. Needless to say, I WILL NOT be spending any more of my hard earned money there. Just read other reviews...you can even see the attitude in her responses...that's right...it's the customers'...

My favorite nail salon in Raleigh! It is small and family-owned, only a few techs, so best to make an appointment if you can. I have been several times and always had great service. If you’re getting SNS/dip, make sure to make an appointment ahead of time b/c only the owner does dip, just an FYI! :)

This was my 2nd visit at Phantastic Nails and won’t be my last. Each visit has been filled with good vibes and conversation. My first visit was with an older nail tech who did a powder dip removal and basic manicure for me. They are always professional, kind, detail oriented and meticulous here with their work. I have been to so many nails spas since turning sixteen. Service and quality are two things I prioritize. Thao is very bubbly and takes pride in her business. I enjoyed chatting with her while receiving a powder dip service. Making an appointment is always easy and she is always willing to accommodate. Recently I visited a new nail spa and my nails have not been doing so well. I decided to make an appointment with Thao who recommended powder dip to nurse my nails back to health. I added tips for some length and absolutely love them. I did not have to wait at the start of my appointment time and Thao was able to multitask while another client was seen as well. We enjoyed some laughs and good music. Looking forward to my next appointment and happy to have this nail spa in my neighborhood.
