Great resource for NC ancestors. Has some resources for surrounding states as well. Be sure to sign up for a free library card prior to visit which will help in the library also in the building. Really helpful, knowledgeable staff. I was able to hold wills written over 250 years ago by my ancestors and I felt so connected to them holding that paper. It was great! Also really interesting maps. So much more to come back and do some time!
