Wilmington Street Station Parking Garage — Local services in Raleigh

This was always the best spot to park in downtown raleigh. Now it is a $5 fee to park from Friday at 5pm to Saturday at 7am, whatever, still not bad. That is until they do not give you a ticket when you enter and when you try to leave, the most self-righteousness jerk of a parking attendant tells you that a lost ticket is an extra $12. Then when you tell him you never had a ticket to give him, but it's obvious you paid to get in, because that's literally the only way to enter the deck, he decides to stare of into the distance and not respond like the pathetic human excuse for a parking meter he is trained to be. Whatever again a $17 fee is worth the knowledge that this deck is run by absolute crooks and it's pretty much not worth going downtown anymore anyways. Scam! The sign at the entrance says "$5 parking from 5pm Friday to 7am Saturday" paid the $5 but she never gave me a ticket. When leaving, the booth said $1 for lost ticket but I never received one in the first place. The attendant when exiting looked at me and said it is $12 for a lost ticket and adjusted the sign so that it was clearly readable. There is no logical explanation on how I got into the parking lot without paying, yet they are charging for tickets that you must receive at the entrance. MAKE SURE YOU RECIEVE A TICKET FROM THE ATTENDANT OR ELSE YOU WILL GET SCREWED WHEN LEAVING. Parking used to be free on weekends in Raleigh, but this seems to be a new addition for Friday nights. I used to park here daily. It's a nice garage that is close to where I work, and it is usually clean. Unfortunately one of the attendants at the ticket booth has terrible people skills and a terrible attitude. On several occasions when I get to the booth, this attendant that is usually there during the evening hours, rolls her eyes and sighs every time I ask her how her day is going, then she'll just look at me with disgust and acts like she didn't understand what I was saying. I don't incite or instigate anything, but she shouldn't act like it's a burden to do her job. Whoever hired her should be ashamed of hiring someone that treats their customers so poorly.
