Warning: Dog Bite & Irresponsible Owner On Aug 15, Toki, our Border Collie, was bitten by an aggressive pitbull. Our family has only been to this park a few times, and each visit had been positive—friendly people and even friendlier dogs. Unfortunately, we encountered an extremely irresponsible, reckless, negligent dog owner. A white male (30-40s) allowed his pitbull to harass and bite our dog. She was happily playing fetch with her frisbee until the incident. At first, we thought the dog was just being nipping at her, but when Toki limped back to us, we saw she was bleeding profusely and had serious bite wounds. The pitbull owner left immediately—no apology, no information, nothing. We had to carry her to our car and administer first aid before taking her to the vet. Locals offered comforting words but didn’t recognize him, so if anyone has any information, please contact me. This incident has left us shaken. Dog owners, please be cautious.

I went to this dog park for the first time after driving by it many of times. My dog had a blast (but then again she is a dog). I liked it though. The area was well maintained, the dogs were friendly, and so were the people. It had a nice community feel. Many people knew other dogs' names and chatted with other park goers. If it was closer to my house I would be a regular, unfortunately I am not so Spring and I will just have to visit whenever we are in the area.

We brought in a young cat that appeared to be a stray. We told the shelter that if they can't find the owner we'd like to adopt her. They cleaned her up and spayed her and about a week and a half later she's living in our home as a member of our family now. The employees at the shelter were efficient and great to work with and really work hard to find homes for all the animals!

The park itself is nice, kept up and maintained! The single star is not relevant to the quality of landscape🏞 which this wonderful organization provides so thoughtfully and graciously to this community....Not at all

The single star is given solely do to the serious lack in quality of the people! Mainly the socially dysfunctional aggressively unwelcoming old 55 to 75 year old women. Not only is there behavior extremely confrontational and highly disturbing enough!Do not put it passed any one of them crazy old covenant witches to literally decide they are going to hope on there broom and fly over to physically block the gate to not allow you entrance into the park and at the same time simultaneously like an uppity narcissistic nimrod interigate in a loud anger fueled overtone that is intended obviously to intimidate each time any new person or dog would pull up and not even be out of there vehicle that there poorly trained over aggressive dogs would pack together running up to try fighting growling a and barking like they will attack them the first chance they get! AND THEY HAVE NOW AGGRESSIVELY AND VICIOUSLY AND SWIFTLY WITHOUT PAUSE ATTACKED MY DOGS ON "2" OTHER OCCASIONS! THE SECOND TIME ONE OF THESE LADIES DOGS NIPPED A PUNCTURE HOLE IN MY INDEX FINGER BECAUSE IT ATTACKED OUTTA NOWHERE AND UNWARNED AS I WAS TRYING TO UNLEASH MY SHI TZU WALKING INTO JUST THE SEPARATION PIN HER DOG DARTED IN AS QUICK ANOTHER PERSON WAS OPENING IT TO LEAVE WITH THERE DOG! MY FINGER THAT NIGHT HAD SWOLLEN SO FAT I COULDNT BEND IT AT THE KNUCKLES AND TOOK 2 & HLF WKS TO HEAL FROM INFECTION OF HER EVIL DOGS BITE YET THE INTIRE TIME BOTH OF THESE INCIDENTS HAVE OCCURED! THIS IS THE ABSOLUTE TRUTH!!! SHE IS PHYSICALLY OBSTRUCTING OR STEPPING IN THE WAY OF US ENTERING THEY PARK RAISING HER VOICE LOUDLY WITH IN MY PERSONAL SPACE IGNORANTLY SPOUTING NONSENSE CREATING CONFLICT INSISTING THAT MY DOGS ARE THE ONES TO CAUSE ANY OF WHAT HAPPENS AND ANYTHING WHICH MIGHT HAPPEN BY BRINGING MY DOGS IN AND INSISTING AND DEMANDING I TURN AROUND N LEAVE BECAUSE. MY PETS ARE AND WILL POTENTIALLY BE AT FAULT FOR THE AGGRESSIVE ATTACKING NATURE OF HERS OR ANY AND ALL THE THERE UNPREDICTABLE POOLY TRAINED OR PATHETICALLY DISCIPLINED WILD DOGS! SHOUTING AND QUESTIONING LIKE A LOUD INTERROGATION WITH DEMANDS TO KNOW IF MY PETS STILL HAVE THERE NUT SACKS AND IF SO THEY ARE NOT ALLOWED TO EVEN SET FOOT ANY WHERE THERE AT THE PARK OR ON THE PROPERTY WITH HER STUPID CLAIM THAT NON- NEUTERED DOGS HAVE MORE TESTOSTERONE DUUUH BUT THAT IT CAUSES THEM TO BE MORE AGGRESSIVE AND BECOME A THREAT TO OTHERS NEUTERED AS THEY SHOULD BE!??? THAT NARCISSISTIC PARK NAZIS NUTTLESS DOGS HAVE EACH TIME AGGRESSIVELY ATTACKED BEFORE WE COULD EVEN GET IN THE PARK AND A 3RD TIME TODAY! WITH HER THREATENING TONE ORDERING I REMOVE MY DOGS FROM THE PREMISES JABBERING LOUDLY WITH THE OTHER OLD PSYCO LADY WITCHES IN THERE COVENANT WITH NOTHING BETTER TO DO THEN WASTE THE LAST 5 TO 10 YRS OF THERE WITHERING ELDERLY LIVES BRINGING LAWN CHAIRS TO THE DOG PARK TO SIT LITTERALLY ALL DAY LONG AND TRY HARASSING N BULLYING EVERY SINGLE PERSON TO GET OUT EVERYTIME THAT UNTRAINED NUTLESS LIL WILD DOGS OF YOURS TRY ATTACKING ANY DOG THEY SEE! FOR A DOG THAT HAD ITS BALLS CUT OF AND IS NOW SUCH AT A VULNERABILITY OF BEING TARGETED FOR A MAULING BY ANY OF THEM LIKE SHE CLAIMS MY VICIOUS NUT SWANGING THUGGED OUT MACHO DOGS ARE WITH THERE OFFENSIVE BALLS. AND TESTICULAR OUTRAGE THEM STILL HAVE THERE BALLS N WIENER CAUSE!

LOOK DO NOT TAKE YOUR PETS TO THIS PARK IF YOU LOVE THEM OR ARE A GOOD RESPONSIBLE OWNER THERE ARE A GROUP OF LOW CLASS REALLY OLD HARASSING UNFRIENDLY LADIES ALWAYS THERE ALL DAY EVERYDAY! DONT WASTE THE TIME IGNORING THIS WARNING AND FINDING...

The staff is kind. Our pet went missing a week before Christmas and we drove to their facility in hopes to be reunited. Sadly our pet was not there but staff was kind enough to show us to the kennels and gave us tips for the search. Truly a beautiful facility and the volunteers were sweet. I was able to see 2 adoptions and a family reunited with their missing pet during my visit. I wish their facility shop was open or available online to encourage sales for the shelter. I appreciated the event even if we didn't find our pet.

Good news, a week later, our pet returned. A true...
