Dallas Park, formerly known as Biggerstaff Park, is one of the handful of hidden gems throughout Dallas. Most folks only pass through and see the senior help center along with being the place to go vote for the area. But drive past the building up front and you'll see...well alot. The animal shelter is to the right down a ways. Theres a few horse enthusiast areas to the right. I can't say for certain but I got the impression some sort of horse show or competition type event is held there. Next in line looks like an open field with camping hookups in two rows. Id guess for the horse owners. Keep on past all that and theres a playground for the kids and further on you'll encounter 3 or 4 different ponds with the farthest back one featuring a walking trail around it. Tons of pavillions scattered throughout the grounds. There are a few buildings that either have been restored or are replicas of buildings from times past when dallas and the whole of gaston county were first beginning to be develop. "Fun Fact": There used to be a larger building that housed abandoned children and people down on their luck trying to start anew in the early part of the 1900's. All in all if you live in Dallas or any surrounding area then Dallas Park is a...

The Dallas Park isn't too bad of a playground to be in such a small town. I only took a star away because it did not have swings and I wish it did. But I really feel like it's more for little kids than anything. Most parks that you go to parents can play with play with there children a little more. So if you have children to far apart in there age I wouldn't suggest to go there. But I think for the most part little kids have always loved this park. It dose have a nice big field around it that I've seen some bigger kids run around and do cartwheels in. But for the most part I would definitely recommend...

Well kept park, I use it to walk my dog . They have fenced off areas to let your dog frolic with other dogs (off leash) they have separate fenced in areas for large & smaller pets) if you prefer!! they have everything equstrian facilities ( Barns & short manicured breezing tracks dirt and grass) ,soccer fields with goals, tennis courts, multiple ponds with fishing piers(stocked w/ Bass & Trout, Catfish) walking trails ,Baseball /Softball diamond and a kiddie playground.this park is very well kept, they recently added a splash pad to keep cool during the summer!!!!

This is a great, well-kept spot with lots of amenities! The playground is small but a lot of fun and the splash pad is awesome (open Memorial Day-Labor Day). The dog park can be difficult to find and you will see exactly 0 signs for it, but if you drive all the way to the end of the park near the lake and walk along it (the big lake with the dock, not the small one with the concrete path), you’ll eventually run into it. There is a water fountain for dogs outside the parks, and decent shade in both the large and small dog parks.
