Waffle House — Restaurant in Dallas

BEWARE: of the white lady who wears colorful hair/ Blonde short hair - She is very rude!!

I spoke to the manager about in incident we had with one of the server this morning. She helped us by giving us the menu and utencils. Didn’t say anything just placed the menu and utensils on the table and just left us hanging. Approximately 3-5 mins later that we were there a white couple sat behind us and Laura proceeds to ask them how are you guys doing today and takes their order first mean while we were waiting to be helped. She then heads over to asks us what we would like to drink after taking their order first and I immediately pointed out to her that she was very rude for doing that and told her that we were there first and her response was that the table we were sitting at wasn't hers and she was just helping another server out who was busy, seems like a lame excuse to me since she did give us the impression that she was going to help us. If it’s not your table isn’t easy to say hey this isn’t my table but I can start you guys of with a drink/menu something so simple. This is not the only time we’ve witness this type of behavior with her since we go to this Waffle House often but I’ve just been ignoring it until today because obviously if you’re a person of color in general she always seems like we’re a bothered to her. Also I asked the manager for her name and he said her name was Laura and we saw that she was wearing a name tag that said Stacey seems very odd to me. He was also smirking like I was telling him a joke. This is not something to be smirking about, you should take your job more seriously. If not this is the type of comments you’ll be receiving and what a wonderful way to be representing the store your in charge of. Very unprofessional service by the manager giving employees fake name tags and server Laura or whatever her actual name is. If you go there please help another server out that truly loves doing their job and avoid getting helped by Stacey or Laura or whatever her name...

Guess I made the mistake of going in at 1:55 pm, & shift change is at 2. I didn't know, Nor should it matter! I was Not greeted, which Few Waffle House's do anymore. The guy cooking, was Not the Real Cook, from what I understood. The few waitresses were Fussy, & Couldn't Wait to get the Hell out of there! They were More concerned with Where the next shift was, & if they were getting off on time. Never mind the customers! A Manager was trying to keep peace , but wasn't concerned with the Atmosphere the Waitresses, were displaying. They guy cooking, ended up serving me. Then when I wanted to add to my order, my ticket was passed around through 3 waitresses, trying to decide who was leaving & staying. Once Shift change was done, EVERYBODY, disappeared, except the Cook. Must be the little ol Lady others speak of. She looked like Granny on the "Beverly Hillbilly's". She was a Ball of Fire, but talked to herself, & I saw her Near burn someone's hashbrowns, beacon, & sausage! When I left, 20 minutes After shift change, Granny was Still running the Sorry Ass place, by Herself! I've been to some crummy WH s, but This is the Worst! I Won't be Back! BTW, I mentioned it being Cold inside, & the waitress told me it's Always Cold inside! Duke Power...

We went to waffle House on the 27th of February and when we went in it's pretty dirty I mean clothes was on the table it looked like someone was just staying there like in the corner but either way I ordered some food it came up to be $44 and 25 cents well I started looking at the receipt that she had she charged me for things that I ordered but I didn't receive like eggs for some reason she charged me 50 cent for four eggs but it was a dollar for egg and we told her we didn't want the eggs but we was charged for them anyway and then my daughter asked for bacon we pay for it but did not get it and because I tipped only 75 cents because to my point of view I got overcharged I didn't get my food service was not very good at all and also the place was not very cleanly to me but other than that out my way out the door I heard them say that I did not pay a tip said well I gave him a 75 cent tip because that's what I felt like the service and everything should have been tipped but they told me I dined and dashed no if you got a tip no matter what it is it's a tip they would have got more if they would not...
