Love seeing old, re-used architecture! Great Museum that covers a LOT of ground, from the heritage of early settlers, native people, crafts & artisans, Red Wing Pottery, local industries, Schools, and even some natural history and paleontology! Free family fun days are a a favorite of our home and great way to introduce littles to a museum experience without them realizing it. The added hunts for items throughout the museum are a great way to talk about the different locations throughout the museum, walking kids through history. The littles love the hunt and older kids learn history by reading the clues and finding the right location in our local history....
