The tables were coated in a layer of grease making them sticky and were made of two boards with a big crack down the middle which was full of dust and pieces of food and trash. We did not notice the condition of the tables until after we ordered and paid. The walls and window sills were covered with a local scentsy seller's product and photos making it feel like a nicknack shop. The food took over half an hour and we watched at least 3 groups come in and leave without ordering. The garlic bread was palatable with the marinara but the loaded tots and mac, recommended as the most popular, was overpowered with just cheese making it bland. It also came with the black olives we asked to be withheld. The appetizer came with the smallest paper plates I've ever seen and the silverware were hardly more than flat cutouts of sheet metal. One worker was friendly but kept pulling his pants up with his gloved hand and the other didn't say a word and literally had a shirt on that said "HEATHEN". We were on the verge of walking out without eating, if it weren't that we had already paid and were visiting from out of town so we didn't know of a quick and easy alternative. I will not be...
Read moreThis was the first time visit for my friends and myself. We picked it based on Google reviews and its proximity to the Cannon Valley trailhead. Proved to be a great place for a post ride lunch. There were five of us in the party. One chose pizza which he described as excellent. The rest of us chose from among the great many variations on Mac cheese. These are assembled while your watch behind a a counter somewhat reminiscent of a subway sandwich shop. Then off to the oven. Servings were uniformly large and reasonably priced. The medium pizza proved to be sufficiently large for two, possibly three people. Three of the four mac and cheese orders in my party left food in the oven so to speak. (The signature mac and cheese variations are served in single serving size cast iron, Dutch ovens, which is not only unique, but serves to keep the contents warm.) I had ridden more miles than the rest, and I was perfectly happy to consume all of my brisket and barbecue mac cheese entree. Water and soft drinks for beverages. Alas, no beer, which would go great with either the pizza or the Mac cheese. I'll go back again the next time I'm...
Read moreWe've been here several times within the past few months and have been torn with an overall 3.5 star rating for this place. The mac n cheese is good overall but some combos are lacking and the pizza one I'd suggest skipping all together. What sets this place apart in its own niche is that the toppings are fresh and you can pick whatever you do or don't want to add. If you are going by the sign on the exterior billboard in front for BOGO 1/2 off one mac n cheese please note that they don't always honor that (per our last visit there). We ordered a cheeza/pizza last time we were there and for $14 were super disappointed with lack of flavor and toppings added. For ~$40 for two mac n cheese's and a pizza the bf stated he would have preferred Dominos to Let Me Cheese U. (Whoever updates their Facebook page constantly has typos on posts and the writing on the items to choose from inside (on the glass) also has typos for those fellow typo sticklers.) With the promo of BOGO 1/2 off of one mac n cheese we could justify going there but without that we just don't think it's worth it with the other options...
