I recently had the pleasure of visiting The Beadman and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. This place deserves nothing less than a five-star review!
First and foremost, the assortment of beads available was absolutely incredible. It was like stepping into a bead lover's paradise. From shiny glass beads to beautiful gemstones, they had it all. The variety in shapes, sizes, and colors was mind-boggling. I could have spent hours browsing through the huge selection, and every time I thought I had seen it all, there was something new to discover.
But what truly set the Bead Man apart was their exceptional customer service. One young man in particular caught my attention with his outstanding assistance. He not only guided me to the sections where I could find specific beads but also patiently explained the differences between various materials and finishes. His knowledge and passion for beads were truly impressive.
What really touched my heart was the unexpected act of kindness from this young man. My daughter had accompanied me, and she had been well-behaved throughout our visit. As a token of appreciation for her good behavior, the young man surprised us by giving her a hacky sack. It may seem like a small gesture, but it made our visit extra memorable. It's incredible how a little act of kindness can brighten someone's day.
In today's world, where customer service can often be lacking, the Bead Man stands out as a shining example. Their staff genuinely cares about their customers and goes above and beyond to ensure a pleasant shopping experience. This level of friendliness and helpfulness is truly commendable.
In the past, I used to purchase my beads and supplies for my bracelet making business at Michael's due to the coupons and rewards they offer. However, after experiencing the amazing service at the Bead Man, I have decided that I would gladly spend a little bit more to support such a fantastic local business.
From now on, the Bead Man will be my go-to destination for all my bead-related needs. Their exceptional assortment of beads combined with their remarkable customer service makes them a gem in the industry. If you are a bead enthusiast or someone looking for beautiful beads and outstanding service, do yourself a favor and visit the Bead Man. You won't be...
Read moreI have been coming to this store since the 70's, and it has always been one of my favorites. I spend so much money here and always have. Today when my daughter and I went into the store, they wanted to take our purses and put them behind the counter. We didn't feel comfortable doing this as we are regular customers and have been for years and years. Anyone could just go in behind the counter and take them too. I watched the lady walk away leaving our purses unattended. I continued to watch and noticed other customers walking in and keeping their purses as nobody was around to notice it. Also, walked around the store and noticed other customers with purses. I went in the back and told the ladies back there that it wasn't fair we had to put our purses behind the counter, but other people were walking around with theirs. They said they were sorry and were working on a system because of theft. I HAVE BEEN SHOPPING THERE SINCE THE 70'S!!!!!! Then one of the clerk's watched our every move as we were trying on clothes, standing right there!!!! They won't have to worry about watching us anymore as we won't be shopping there again. In fact, I don't even know if that is legal to take someone's purse from them. I ended up spending around $75 there today too, but that will be it. Also, noticed the clerk's are not that friendly anymore and have been rude the past few times I have been in there. I won't be recommending this...
Read moreThe staff is typically great, but I had a very horrible experience the other day. I was rung up by a man probably under 30 who asked me if I was in the "special young ladies club?" I had no idea what he was talking about, so he again asked if I was part of the "young ladies club" because I will get my discount for being over 55. I wanted to die! I'm only 42. He didn't even realize how badly he had insulted me. I wanted to cry. I was there with my 6 year old daughter. 55 year olds don't have little kids!
I hope that this will be rectified with re-training. I'm sure I'm not the first who has been so insulted and I wont be the last. You do not assume a womans age especially when she's 13 years away from joining that "special club". It is still bothering me all these days later. I don't have gray hair nor am I pruned with wrinkles. I dress stylish and take a lot of pride in my appearance, but I left that store with little pride. The staff is very friendly, but these cashiers need to be trained on how to ask (I think a senior citizen would let the cashier know without being asked) if a person has any discounts. You do NOT assume especially when you are way off in guessing a womans age! I'm posting this under a friends google account because this was so humiliating I don't even want to say who I am! Re-train the...
