Los Cachorros Taqueria just won me over for best Mexican food in Redding. Went in based off a recommendation from a friend and now will be passing the word along to others. Service/Friendliness: 4.5 Stars Atmosphere: 3 Stars Presentation: 4.5 Stars Flavor/Texture & Quality : 4.5 Stars

Staff was extremely friendly, checking in on us multiple times throughout the meal. I believe they may have had a new trainee take our order. She knocked it out of the park, welcomed us in from the get go and gave us some great suggestions.

The Wet Burrito with half green sauce and half red sauce was perfectly seasoned and presented. I would order this 9 times out of 10 and only because I can't wait to try some...

The Review of all reviews by a real Mexican. I had the chili rellenó and cheese enchilada with a side of homemade tortillas. I’ll start with the chili relleno, it was wrapped in real bread. The sauce had an after taste of a spice I’m unfamiliar with. Something I’ve never had with that dish. The enchilada had the same sauce from the Chile relleno which all tasted the same. I was really disappointed because the review spoke really highly of the establishment. When I travel I always try to find a real Mexican restaurant by reading the reviews. Unfortunately this was not the place. I will not be returning or recommending. The workers seemed nice but what I need was real authentic food at the $20+...

This is now one of my (2) favorite Mexican restaurants, anywhere. My husband and I have been here twice now, and everything we have ordered has been OUTSTANDING. I’m amazed at how intricately flavorful each dish is. I’m used to chicken being seasoned and tasting fine, but the chicken here has its own flavor profile that actually stands out—it’s wonderful. We’ve also tried the carne asada and carnitas and both are 👌👌 I physically felt SO. HAPPY. eating the food here. I personally recommend the birria, corn on the cobb (get all the colors!), and the nachos. I hope Los Cachorros thrives here in Redding—it’s a new staple for us!! Enjoy! :)
