Bentronics — Local services in Redding

Once again, Bentronics has come through for me. This time, I was looking for a simple magnetic alarm reed switch, to be used as a garage door open sensor. All the big hardware stores had were entire, complicated, expensive alarm systems. None of the major stores I visited had the small electrical part I needed, but Bentronics did. Previously, I had received a small mini computer from a Chinese company that had arrived with a power supply with an incorrect size connector on it. A quick visit to Bentronics, and I was able to pick up the small adapter needed to make the power supply usable with the device I had received - the very same day. The major hardware stores don't carry the small magnetic switch I was looking for. The only big electronics store in town, doesn't carry the special little power connection adapter I needed. Now that Radio Shack is gone, Bentronics seems to be the only place in Redding left as a supplier of all the tiny...

I have an old Samsung plasma tv that had a blown out capacitor. I was going to order the part online. It would take about 2 weeks to arrive, but I didn't want to wait that long. So I've decided to checkout Bentronics to see if they had the part, which I called in advance and they did! Bill prefered a newer and stronger part for me that was better than my previous one. I took the part home and installed it. Works like a charm! Only cost me $2.49! Great customer service and very knowledgeable! Great place to go for...

Stopped in last week to get some builder's electronic parts. Bill and the crew were super friendly and knowledgeable on the products they sell.
