Concept Art Gallery — Attraction in Regent Square

Very disappointed in my experience with this art gallery. I contacted them about a hand colored etching from the early 17th century through email. Shannon explained it's hard to tell authenticity through photos (which makes sense) and that I needed to make an appointment to bring it in. Authenticity wasn't an issue for me as this item was appraised for $850 within the past 3 years. So I made an appointment, packed the family up and made the hour trek to Pittsburgh. When I got there, the "expert" (used this term lightly) was not, so I had to wait (strike 1). When this lady finally shows up, I don't know if it is Shannon or not because they didn't even show enough respect and professionalism to introduce themselves (strike 2). She proceeded to walk past my etching and says it's not for us. If you're saying it's not for you, that could have been done through the photos. Completely unprofessional and disrespectful. I've attended several auctions here both pre and post pandemic and found it an enjoyable experience. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and there's often really cool or hard to find items in the list. We have also had framing done here and were very happy with the results.
