Live Fresh Cold Pressed Juice + Smoothie Bar — Restaurant in Regent Square

I used to be a huge fan of Live Fresh, but the past 3 smoothies I have gotten have all been disappointing. Flavors I've gotten before and really enjoyed now taste very strongly of banana and nothing else. One was so poorly blended, I had to take it home and put it into my own blender so I wasn't chewing my smoothie. They may have changed their recipes to include a higher ratio of banana and less of other ingredients, I'm not sure, but as someone who used to be a frequent customer, I'm not sure if I'll be back again any time soon. For the price of these smoothies, I expect them to be perfectly blended, vibrant, and flavorful. I don't want to pay $9+ for mostly bananas.

That said, the employees are always extremely nice and friendly! The customer service never disappoints, but the product has not been enjoyable in the past...

Just discovered that they’re open til 7pm on Mondays!(not sure of the rest of the week). I really thought they had shorter hours. i.e. no evening hours during the week.

I was craving a smoothie and was out of produce and feeling lazy. Live Fresh solved my problem but then created a new one…I couldn’t figure out which smoothie to get!

I like the pitaya plunge. I wanted something tropical so I got the jungle fever with coconut milk, banana, mango, and pineapple. I drank the whole thing by the time I got home. The other one I wanted to try has cinnamon and vanilla in it. I forget what else.

Just got back from Hawaii and was craving an Acai Bowl. Found this place not far from our house and decided to check it out. We were greeted immediately upon entering and waited on shortly after another customer finished up. We were given samples of many of their juices, all delicious, the kale goddess being my personal fav as well as our toddlers favorite. 2 acai bowls later, you’ve earned a repeat customer. Will definitely be back. Happy to have a good spot for an acai bowl in Pittsburgh. I was too hungry and forgot to take a picture of the pretty bowl. The woman waiting on us was super friendly and helpful....
