Damonte Ranch — Attraction in Reno

Easily the worst area I've ever lived. Also the highest price. Don't expect to work from home or sleep or read or watch tv or take calls or meetings or enjoy time in your home from about 8am to 8pm every day. It's the loudest, most unpleasant area in the city. I basically live inside a leafblower from sun up to sundown every day. Oh also the HOA is either corrupt or lazy (I admit. That wasn't a surprise). They will actually block resident email addresses to avoid complaints and avoid helping anyone in the community at all costs. They don't even have the courage to respond, they just block you. The whole area is mismanaged and there is an issue with hired outside parties walking around, actively disturbing the peace. Love all the walking trails in the area. Cost of living here is higher than average for Reno and not a great place to commute from if you work in North Reno area or out near Tesla. Otherwise has all the amenities including nice parks and lots of stores. Could use a few more good restaurants. Convenient to Mt....
