Came here for a birthday dinner. Four of the five entrees had a weird off flavor so much that we could not finish our food. We had the wedge salad, French onion soup, spinach salad and Caesar salad to start. Wedge salad was supposed to have pork belly on the top. What looked and tasted like chopped hot dogs on the side in some sort of salty BBQ sauce. Wedge dressing supposed to be blue cheese--this was not blue cheese. Dressing on the wedge had the same weird flavor as the entrees. Caesar was the only good thing we ate to start.
Entrees were rack of lamb, sirloin, filet Oscar, ribeye and linguini with shrimp & lobster. Every entree but the linguini had the same weird taste. Like they put some weird spice in the food that made it inedible. Sadly they ruined a bunch of good cuts of meat.
Seasonal vegetables on the side of all entrees were steamed pickled green beans with pickled cauliflower and pickled red cabbage. We are adventurous eaters but were not expecting pickled vegetables as a side. Again they all had the same weird flavor.
Dared to try dessert. Flourless chocolate cake was literally a pile of frosting on a plate. An actual blob. Sent it back. Creme brûlée (fingers crossed)--nope. Curdled. Ice cream sundae -- can't miss there, right? Oh you can...fake whipped cream with the same weird flavor. Ice cream was ok.
Talked to management. My discussion with the manager gave me the feeling like they have heard this story numerous times. It's probably hard for the front of the house when the food is so horrible, but left with the feeing that nobody cares and they're just going through the motions or something. Service was good, charged one item we didn't get but comped all the desserts. Meal was $340 with tip. We will not be coming back, sorry to say as we...
Read moreIt’s the third time I’ve given this place a try and I’m quite disappointed after so many good reviews. I frequent the casino a lot. You wouldn’t think a small casino would have VIP players but they do. I spend a lot of money on the casino side to have to pay for mediocre service and food. This last time went, I ordered the special appetizer of the day. It was a crab/salmon filled won ton. One won ton was just the fried one ton, no filling. They did bring me one won ton to replace it. I ordered a wedge salad and it came out without any blue cheese. In my opinion, blue cheese is the star of a wedge salad. I ordered a medium rare rib eye ($45) to have it come out charred on the outside and medium on the inside. They took my steak back and returned my potatoes to me on a separate dish to eat while I wait for my new steak. Why would I want to do that? I don’t want to eat just potatoes and then have no side dish with my steak. By the time my steak came out, my husband was almost through with his meal. We ordered a Creme brûlée which I’ll admit was the best part of the meal. I do recommend that. Prior to receiving the check, I asked for a side of bread and butter to go (because their hot bread and butter is to die for). When I received the check, not only did they not at least take my husband’s soda off the check for some sort of compensation but I was charged for my side of bread to go. That was the kicker for me. I think messing up on my appetizer, my salad and my main course, maybe the to go bread could be complimentary. I don’t mind paying for the bread at all, or the entire meal, but I just felt as if there was no care at all to make anything right. The casino takes enough of my money lol. I won’t let the...

We had high hopes but unfortunately this place fell flat in both service and food. The busser Riley was the star of the show! She dealt with my deaf, kind of out of touch parents perfectly. She literally had rapport with everyone walking by. I cannot say enough. Our actual server paid no attention to our table, and rarely checked on us but she SHINED.
Now for the food:
The lobster tail was so rubbery we did not eat any of it in our surf and turf, and regret not just getting more turf. The tail went uneaten and unboxed for taking home. Hard pass, unfortunately. I WILL say- I was told the steak on the surf and turf was GREAT. So, it is a steak house after all.
The salmon was good! We paired it with the rice pilaf. The rice pilaf was SO bland you could have served me a glass of water and called a day.
I’ve never had my parents who legitimately think mayo is too spicy and that butter is a condiment tell me something is “too bland” so tonight’s meal takes the cake.
We got dessert, too. Don’t think disappointment stops a sweet tooth.
The pot de creme was smooth, rich, and chocolaty! However, that “warm peanut butter cookie”?! That was a rock. I was chewing on ice cold pebbles and was told it was a cookie.
My father was so disappointed in his meal, we took him to Texas Roadhouse the next day to make up for it. (Much to my disappointment)
All in all, I’d skip it, and for the love of God PROMOTE RILEY. She’s so much better than the stagnant stale server I had who couldn’t care less about taking care of his table, let alone the actual people...
