Disappointed and Frustrated Experience at This GameStop I normally don’t leave reviews, but I felt really let down after my experience. I went to this GameStop around 11 AM specifically to try and get some Pokémon cards. An employee told me they would be restocking at 2:30 PM, so I made the effort to come back later in the day.
When I returned, I was told they were already sold out — but I saw two people in the store actively opening packs and overheard them saying they had bought them earlier and just came back to open them there. It felt really unfair and disheartening.
It seemed like the staff were keeping items aside for friends, family, or themselves. There were only a few people in the store, so it’s hard to believe they sold out that fast without holding some back.
As a loyal customer and Pokémon fan, I left feeling extremely disappointed. It’s really upsetting to feel like regular customers don’t even have a fair chance to get what they’re looking for. I hope GameStop takes this kind of behavior seriously and ensures that products are distributed more fairly...

A few years back when my Son was sick in the hospital, these folks helped me time and time again to get him games to play to distract from the pain. When time came I could afford a new console for him, they sold me a refurbished PS4, at a great price, and because they knew he was sick, they gave him a 2 year warranty for free. My Son used that PS4 all the way up until he passed away July 1st 2016. It was playing soothing music and things he loved all the way until the end. That same PS4 is still running today, every day, it's 90% of my entertainment. If you need anything game-wise, go see these people, they won't let you down. I started with a used Zelda edition, but had to exchange for a standard new one due to a defective unit. I asked for the warranty, and I was charged for it during the first transaction, but somehow lost in the exchange with me not receiving the refund. Fast forward to now, the Switch is having hardware issues. I went to my local GameStop who broke the news that the warranty was not properly added, and that Reno had to help. To make matters worse, even though the switch still has Warranty under Nintendo, they advised not to send it due to the ongoing fires in L.A, where their warranty center is.
