My iPhone 5 was stolen at this location by one of the employees and the restaurant manager has not contacted me to take my report. I am highly dissatisfied with their service, empathy and efforts to ensure me they did NOT take my phone. My family and I were the only paying customers in the dining room at the time my phone disappeared from the table I accidentally left it at. I used the phone moments before leaving the establishment to take a picture to post on Instagram to brag about being with family during a weekend that I came to Reno to pay my final respect at my uncles funeral.
Michael and Monica claimed they didn't see the phone when they cleaned off the table that I returned to 7 minutes after realizing my iPhone 5 wasn't in my purse. I take full responsibility for leaving my phone in the presence of thieves. However, I really wish they would have common courtesy to return if when someone is asking them to at the their place of employment. Also, the "locate my iPhone" pinned the restaurant as the place that it was while we searched for the phone for an hour with the employees as well as an additional hour and a half after I left the establishment. The phone has been turned off, hacked and/or security codes changed to disable me from locating my phone.
I have filed a police report and I am hoping and praying my phone is returned soon. This is more than a $699.99 phone in my eyes. This is something that I worked hard to earn and holds valuable memories in my photo/video albums as well as the recent notes I've taken at important events.
I will continue to post on this page until I speak with someone or have my phone...
Read moreWent here tonight with my husband. It was an experience.
It took a few minutes for us to be seated, although only one other table was filled at the time. We wondered how many people, if any, worked there. The restaurant had an aura of just, confusion? An uncanny valley feeling. The chairs were mismatched, the wood wall grungy. We wondered if it was just us who felt this, or if everyone else felt this and just ignored it. We ordered, and waited. After 30-45 minutes, one of the staff members apologized and said our appetizer would be free for having to wait so long. We hadn't realized that much time had already passed. Time didn't feel like it was passing at the right rate. After waiting some more time, the garlic bread finally came. The bread was good, the marinara was half frozen. We were given cheap paper plates to each off of. All of this only added to the uncanny valley feeling. After some more time, we got our pizzas. The pizza was good, although the flavor came and went, much like our frame of minds at that point. The crust was half uncooked, and lacked any flavor at all. As we walked out after paying, the bar was full, but none of the people made any sound. The TV was even almost silent. I've never had an existential crisis, wondering if I was in purgatory or inside of an Eldritch being. The feeling lifted as soon as we walked down the sidewalk. All I could mutter over and over was "What was that? Why did we both have this exact same feeling of confusion and unknown-ness? I don't know."
We left a large tip. That experience was one of a kind. We don't know if it is a common experience at this establishment, but we shall...
Read moreI've been to Blind Onion many times and they're always hit or miss. Generally the pizza is good and I like their crust. However, my experience tonight will ensure that I won't return. The pizza was overcooked, crusty, and somehow tasted worse than cafeteria pizza that's been sitting under a heat lamp all day.
Time management always seems to be an issue here. One time I sat on hold for nearly 15 minutes and TWO other times they simply forgot to make my pizza. Tonight I ordered a pepperoni pizza and was told it would take one hour. That was fine. But when I brought my pie home, it literally tasted like an old frozen pizza. The cheese was rubbery and it seemed like it sat under a heat lamp for about 45 minutes. I called to complain but go put...
