The Cup Café — Restaurant in Reno

I find Kimmie's rather expensive but the food is very good, at least what I have had there. I just got back to Reno after working out of state for 4 months, decide to go to Kimmie's. I sat on the other side of the restaurant for the counter. Got my coffee, ordered breakfast from Brandon S, read my paper. A young lady brought me my breakfast. I never seen Brandon again at my table. My coffee cup was empty, nobody around to even ask to fill it. I went to the other side of the restaurant to get a refill. A young guy refilled my cup, I told him there was a "coffee drought" in the other room. He told me there wasn't, as I worked away I said the serviced stunk. I was seated at my table when this young man came up to my table and asked me what I had said as I was walking away. His tone of voice was threatening. I told him service sucked. When the young lady who brought me my check, I still haven't seen Brandon except when he was bring checks to other tables, ask me if everything was OK. I told her about the coffee, she said she was sorry....REALLY! She made no offer to take the coffee of the bill or anything else....just sorry. My family and I used to come to this restaurant quite often. We finally stopped going because the prices just kept raising. It's quite expensive now. Today I stopped by while I was out running errands. I was by myself. I am on strict diet and I couldn't find anything on the menu that fit what I could eat so I had to select from the "sides" portion of the menu. All I wanted was a simple bacon-and-eggs dish. They didn't have it! So I had to order a side of eggs, a side of bacon, and a side of half an avacado. So, I had two eggs, 3 strips of bacon, a 1/2 an Avacado and a cup of coffee and my bill was over $14! Appalling. Also, they are very nice there but, I asked for some butter right off the bat before my food was brought and I sat there waiting and waiting and waiting.. it never got brought to me. So I asked the busboy to bring me butter, finely he did so that I could drink my coffee. So I sat for about 10 minutes with my coffee that I couldn't drink until they brought the butter. Long story but it's part of my diet. Anyhow, the butter came but it came when my breakfast came. The taste of the food is fine, the service was decent, not quick but not considerably slow. Today i ordered food thru GrubHub from this reaturant. While reviewing my order i realized i didnt add a drink. So i called the resturant to see if i could possibly add one before the grubhub driver arrived. I was placed on hold to be answered from a woman who claimed she was the owner of the business. Im like sweet...so i tell her i want to add a drink to my order and she rudely says to me and i quote " Look mam i cant do that and your order will not be made because i dont use grub hub for my business. I dont know why they have my business on there app but we are a small mom pop shop and grubhub isnt a service we use so your order will not be fullfilled."......im like what? Wait i just ordered......she again rudely interrupting me says to me "what do you want me to tell you. Your order will not be fullfilled and if you have any concerns call grubhub." Ive never been to this business before and thought hey it looks good......lets try it.
