Went in at the recommendation of a friend. Friday afternoon around 4:30, had the place to ourselves. We were greeted and ordered at the counter: gyro platter, beef & chicken shawarma platter that came with rice, potatoes, cucumber salad, hummus & tzatziki, lentil soup, grape leaves, and later a baklava. Food didn't take long and we picked up at the counter. Overall the food was good and portions were decent for the prices, $45 total plus $3 tip. Owner I think said shawarma was the carved meat, I thought it was gyro meat. The beef was lean, in small strips, and had good flavor, chicken had good flavor but seemed to be dark meat and was fatty. Gyro meat was in rectangular cubes, which is different than I'm used to, as I thought gyro was the carved meat. Rice had lentils in it and tasted good. Lentil soup was delicious and hot. Grape leaves tasty, but had a little kick to it, and hummus tzatziki & cuke salad were all good. Pita bread seems to be thinner now (another restaurant had thin pita also). Baklava at 2.50 was nice dessert. Biggest complaint was that no one checked on us while we were eating even though we were the only ones in there and the owner walked by about 4 times to check something on the door. Also at some point, he went to restroom with apron on and wiped hands on the apron which shot my mom's appetite bc she saw it. Seems common practice in food service but very unsanitary and unhygienic. I would've given more of a tip had they checked on us. Biodegradable to-go cardboard boxes, which is nice for the...

I ordered a Greek Salad $9 and a "side" of Grilled Chicken $4. *I always just drink tap water so I can eat more food.
These guys get it, really. Its lunch time you know. They are very friendly and greeted me when I walked in! I placed my order, washed my hands, sat down and wasn't 2 minutes later my order is ready and they called my name!
Wow! Talk about a heathy portion of food. Most places you get half the food at twice the price, NOT HERE! See picture. 12 inch plate, 4-5 inches high.
Super fresh and crispy salad and tasty grilled chicken. The salad was cold and the chicken was hot. As it should be. If I had gone to a chain restaurant it all would have all been luke warm! Yuck.
No question, I would highly reccomend Wrap it Up to you. They only have one location, so you won't find them all over Reno.
The Atmosphere is a non issue for me. But Wrap it Up is very clean, no frills, simple tables in a strip mall location. I come to eat lunch not be entertained I'm looking for a quality meal thats not fried or bbq'd into submission.
They offer a wall full of choices for lunch or dinner. The have a great Gyro Wrap that's easy to buy and fly with.
If you've got 15 minutes to sit and eat, this salad is a...
Read moreIt's not cool to serve me old reheated, not fresh, dried chicken and gyro meat. Spend $50 for food and get absolutely garbage food. When we first dine in, the food was amazing, and everything tasted fresh, but when we ordered to go, it's a different story. The cook is shady and give you 2 day old precooked dried chicken and roughly cut gryo meat that they just reheated with some being burnt. Chicken was hard and bland. I ordered the combo platter and asked them to add beef and got mostly dried chicken and burnt gyro meat and tasted only 3 small pieces of slice beef. It was horrible, and 10 minutes later, my stomach was hurting. My wife ordered the Greek salads with chicken, and that too was made horribly wrong and disgusting. They needed more ingredients and dressing in the salad, barely any chick peas, and came with a butt of lettuce that was supposed to be discarded. My daughter gyro was bland and needed more of the Greek yogurt sauce and veggies. Please see the picture This will be my last time here, and I will take the drive down to Suri's. At least their food is flavorful and fresh with a better menu that's definitely...
