Tea Leaf Cafe — Restaurant in Reno

I was very excited to try this new tea spot as it is close to home and very convenient. I kept waiting for them to open up and when I finally went in, I was pleasantly surprised. I got a grapefruit refresher and my friend got a caramel frap. Both were meh - we felt like we should've tried actual teas. My drink did not have much flavor and the boba recommended to go on it wasn't actually a good pair. I cannot speak for other drinks, as I will have to come again and try them, but this one wasn't as good. Not what I expected. I ordered the "BBQ pork sandwich" and got a roll with something akin to jerky on it with a little shredded carrot and a thin slice of cucumber. The cuke wasn't even a full width or length!) No fountain drinks, no cans, nor bottles. Just what they had to make. So, I order Thai coiffee which was good. But, it would have been nice to have chips, coleslaw, or something to help with the dryness of the sandwich. Oh did I mention that there was no BBQ sauce on the sandwich? Love the bubble tea here especially with the variety of choices. They also have other food choices such as fried rice so an ideal place to go to eat at a great deal.

The shrimp spring rolls are delicious and are much bigger than other places.

Only negative was that my husband did not care for the egg waffles.

The place is clean and has a nice ambience plus the employees were helpful and polite. It also has a little area to play board games.
