Teglia's Paradise Park — Attraction in Reno

This place is pretty cool. There is a dog park nearby, different little places for kids to play on jungle gyms, a lake front area with benches, and a great viewing area for urban wildlife. People are friendly and are usually walking around the many pathways that are around the little lake nearby. There is good parking and despite the road being right there, everyone seems to drive cautiously and watch out for people and pets with them. Lots of pigeons and cool things to relax around. I got my phone stolen here! I thought it would be a fun place to bring my kids because of the new play structure on the northwest side. However, it was quiet and eery the day I went. I hasn't heard my phone notifications and then I reached into my backpack and my phone was pickpocketed! Used to be one of my favorite spots to take a stroll. Just went there yesterday and literally watched a woman walk right into the bushes near the water and take a poop. She then stood up and kicked dirt over it. Then I almost got run over several times by two people riding electric scooters being careless and reckless with no regard to people just trying to take a little walk.
