The Eisemann Center is a beautiful venue with great acoustics and a cozy atmosphere. I recently attended a Pink Martini show there, and the performance was absolutely fantastic—fun, engaging, and full of energy. The band’s charisma and interaction with the audience were incredible, making it a memorable experience. At one point, they even invited the audience to dance, which added to the lively vibe of the evening. However, I was disappointed with the way the venue handled this moment. One of the ushers warned the audience not to dance in the aisles, which felt a bit contradictory to the band’s efforts to engage everyone and create a celebratory atmosphere. While I understand the need for safety and maintaining order, this restriction seemed unnecessary and dampened the spontaneity of the experience. Overall, while the performance itself was outstanding, the venue’s approach to audience participation could be improved to align better with the spirit of such shows. Still, I’d return for another performance, hoping for a bit more flexibility in the future.

I recently attended the Salim Sulaiman concert at the Charles W. Eisemann Center for Performing Arts and Corporate Presentations in Richardson, TX, and it was a fantastic experience. The facility is excellent, spacious, and multi-level, providing a great view from any seat. The sound and lighting were awesome, enhancing the overall performance. The seats were comfortable, allowing for a pleasant and relaxing evening. Drink options were reasonably priced with $11 champagne and hard drinks, and $3 for water. There are also free water fountains available for convenience. Parking was only $5, and the crowd and traffic management were top-notch, making for a hassle-free arrival and departure. Overall, the Eisemann Center is an outstanding venue, and I thoroughly enjoyed the concert. Highly recommended for any event!

I just recently attended a performance at the Charles W. Eisemann Center and was not disappointed. The intimate venue is very clean and well kept with easy access to your seating. The staff is polite and attentive to your needs. I was especially pleased with the well-crafted acoustics of the performance hall. There was plenty of thunderous bass matched by a full range of mids and ultra highs providing a well-balanced and immersive experience. Do not worry about seating since all seats are good visually and acoustically. The only concern you should have is.. What took me so long to get here and experience it? I highly recommend any performances you can catch at this venue.

A friend and I visited the Eisemann Center for the first time at the early part of July 2023 for an event with The Home Edit. I was fine with the security screening, bag checks, and ticket scans. I realize all those things are necessary in this day and age. However, what was incredibly upsetting was once inside the arena, while my friend and I were trying to locate our seats, a man came up to me (and only me) demanding to see my ticket. I politely showed it to him as he claimed to be checking “something” on it. He quickly scanned it, said he saw what he needed to see, and then my friend and I found our seats. After sitting down, I thought back to that gentleman and wondered why he singled me out. My friend was standing next to me and had her ticket out (prepared for him to ask to see hers next) but he didn’t. Could it be that I was one of the very few people of color in the arena that night? I don’t like to jump to conclusions like that because honestly, it feels anachronistic. It was very unsettling and my friend who was with me (she is white) was not singled out even though we were together. I kept looking back at him to see if he was asking anyone else to see their tickets. He never did. Very curious. After the event ended, as we headed out, some of the ushers said we could turn in our souvenir fans of The Home Edit team. I asked if I could keep it and one of them said “Sure.” So we proceeded to walk toward the exit when one member of the security team yells at me that I need to turn in the fan. I politely told her we were told we could keep it. She begins to angrily yell at me that I need to turn it in. At this point, I dropped it into the collection bin and left. Clearly communication and training on how to treat patrons was lacking within the staff. Because of that lack of communication and training, I was left befuddled and perturbed. At this point, I’m avoiding the Eisemann Center for the foreseeable future. All of the issues I encountered could’ve been easily avoided. I hope they can do better in the future. All in all, I left deeply disappointed and would not...

My daughters spring performance was held here today. We were disappointed with the seating, we ordered front row seats at the price of $35.00 per seat of course thinking they would be the best seat in the theatre. To our surprise the stage was over our heads, we could not see from their feet to their ankles on the ballerinas. It was so awkward, uncomfortable and disappointing. To charge $35 for the worst row in the room is just ridiculous, I would highly recommend sitting 3rd row and beyond. Maybe even up on the balcony to get a great view of the whole stage! That front row is just way too close to the stage, so of course that initially knocked off a star for a review. Then, right in the middle of my daughters recital, the fire alarm went off, the whole theatre had to be evacuated. We waited for fire dept. to show to be told it was a malfunction and only a tech person can fix it: so we had to leave and MAYBE come back at the 7pm show. We had 4 family members drive from out of town and had to get back home, we had dinner plans so of course the 7pm show didn’t work for us. So my daughter had to miss her own recital. I understand these things happen but I expected some more professionalism as far as rescheduling went! another date would’ve been more accommodating. I later found out only 4 girls from my daughters class showed up to perform, that’s 4 out of 12!! I called to get a refund for my 8 horrible tickets and immediately the lady said yes of course! I was very grateful for that, it was the least they could do. Which is why I hold this review at 3 stars. Beautiful theatre, convenient flower shop inside and there were cute ballet trophies! I really hope this doesn’t happen again to anyone else! It was...

The Eisemann Center was such a wonderful place to have our wedding reception! The staff is simply amazing. They were very responsive when we were deciding on where to have our wedding. We took a tour that was very informative and from day 1, we knew we needed to have our reception in their Bank of America Hall (downstairs). Once we secured them as our location, they have a full team that works with you. Your team consists of your event coordinator, a security guard, an on-site technician the day of, and several other members that are there to help you along the way. They do have restrictions on your food (must use approved vendor list) and alcohol (must be catered by the Renaissance Hotel which is next door) but the majority of wedding venues do. This site was also very convenient for us since our out of town guests stayed at the hotel next door which allowed us more flexibility in a lot of wedding day activities.

Our biggest reasons for picking them includes: customer service, staff assistance, price, convenience of location being next door to a hotel, and you get the room for the entire day for a great price. You have the room from 8am-12am (midnight).

Overall, we are thankful and very happy with how...
