I cannot recommend audio perfection enough. I first called about my needle that was damaged which was a P-mount (T4P) tonearm which limits The needles I have. I walked into the store and the employee told me that they had the grado blue available which would be compatible with my tonearm. He highly suggested I get back in my car go get my record player and come back and he can balance it line it up and check the record player. I have to tell you that the hour I spent that it took me to go back to St Paul and back to Richfield was well worth it! I brought back my record player and he got right to work! He balanced my record player installed the needle. And one of the best parts is he took my record player to another room which had and immaculate setup. He played Heart "crazy on you" just to demo it and it sounded amazing. But he went above and beyond, I noticed that he had Air (French band) Moon Safari on vinyl. I asked him if I can listen to a bit of the first song on there using my record player with my new needle, and he obliged! He said it was absolutely no problem.
He put on Moon Safari, and I was in Bliss! I can't speak of enough the great customer service, the care, the professionalism of the entire process. They are friendly and open to questions! I will be coming back for more listening of vinyl and any other record player issues! I highly highly...
Read moreAfter 30 years of living with my stereo system, I decided to start upgrading my components and gave the guys at Audio Perfection a visit on the recommendation of a friend.

I have read through some of the negative comments left here and advise folks to take these all with a grain of rock salt. Shopping for high-end audio equipment is a journey and something that does take time–or at least it should. It is part of the experience and the investment. Remember, you are not at Best Buy! This is quality equipment, sold by good people, offering top-notch service. I am more than likely not their average customer, but always felt welcome at...
Read moreIf you have money for better equipment this is the place to go in the twin cities. Not the only one, but my standard. Multiple rooms with good to top of the line set ups. Plus the rooms are not tricked up, so generally truer experiences as found in average homes. They are willing to order in a piece for review as I just did here in 3/17. Block extra time for listening, as even reviewing cables can be worth the effort, or others are ahead of you. No issues with bringing your own music. Meaning after selecting what I was there for with some SRV & such, they let me listen to a little "Fragile" on the WOW side. Or maybe because I have been going there on /off for 30 years and I ask every time I'm there. Only negative thing I can think of is, when is too much...
