On our way home from a day of officiating basketball, myself and my partner decided to stop at Lyndale and 75th for Dairy Queen Chill & grill because just prior, earlier during the day we had it in Eden Prairie, and it was everything you could ask for awesome! However the experience at this location, which is less than a mile from my house, was Awfully terrible and disgusting. Fluids moved in my mouth uncontrollably from a order of Honey BBQ Strips making me feel sick, as if they were spit on with flem (luggie) in it. Stomach turning, (I only ate one and a half tenders) I attempted to brush my teeth , but I felt the moving liquid as I was finishing. My partner complained about the same thing, citing it was the COOK who was had to have done this because the previous DQ was as good as advertised. I spent $23.31 which is a decent amount considering fast food. The cook here needs to be looked at more closely and taught how to prepare food tats not contaminated with other people's bodily fluids. My experience with Dq has always been good since I can remember, and I hate that my perception has changed changed / ALTERED because of a nasty , evening shifted cook, who dies not need to be working with food! I would think twice about 75th Lyndale Dq location. The cook is terrible, and that's coming from a Chef like myself. Who knows food! I'm upset my night went this way not being able to eat last night...
Read moreThis is now the second health code violation that I have seen at this specific location and honestly, I'm probably not gonna be coming back anytime soon.
The last one was when there was an argument between a manager, and one of the employees that was refusing to wash their hands after having gone to the bathroom several customers noticed it and reported it to the manager and complained about it. No idea what ended up happening with her.
Then today I go and get myself a blizzard with extra Oreo, not only did I not get my extra Oreo, but as the guy was making my blizzard, he stuck his bare fingers into it in order to push the ice cream that was spilling out back in. I'm not confrontational so I basically just accepted the blizzard, walked out the door, and chucked it into the garbage.
It wasn't just that he stuck his finger in it, when he handed it to me, I got a good look at his fingers where there was what appeared to be a cut that had been healing up. Looked like it was scabbed over either way freaking gross. That finger touched my ice cream and then pushed into my ice cream as he was making it. I don't know what has happened to this Dairy Queen but it really seems like whoever they've been hiring over the last year here have been absolutely horrible compared to the people that used...
Read moreOrdered delivery from this location last night (3/15/22) through door dash and after our food had been done and just sitting there for 30 minutes i repeatedly tried to call to see if we could just come pick up our order which had been sitting there done but nobody answered the phone, would pick up and hang up the phone or just continue to let it ring. So 50 minutes into our order just sitting there as I was leaving the house to go the less than a mile from my house to see if I could just pick it up we were alerted a dasher had our delivery. Needless to say $30 and food that had been sitting for an hour being delivered to our home and still no answer from anyone when trying to call to see if the order could be remade I ended up having to just throw the food away. Yes I know door dashes issues with delivery and never use them the person who ordered the food paid for with my debit card used them and because of this I just essentially had to throw away $30. Awful awful customer service! All they had to do was answer a phone to let me know if I could pick up our order instead of waiting on door dash longer. And of course there is the no refund if you cancel through door dash, only the delivery fee. Will never use this location again. Food borne illness is a thing...
