Jose Chavez is amazing! He took his time to show me all my options, and was very friendly. I returned to Mor to buy the item Jose had showed me, and unfortunately Jose had left for the day. Sebastian helped me with the purchase, and assured me Jose would get the credit for the sale.
My experience with Sebastian was subpar, extremely uncomfortable, slightly dishonest, and disappointing. He completed the entire transaction with a cell phone, and didn't explain why. He didn't mention finance options, just asked for my payment card. Since the items I bought were gifts, He also requested additional contact info, and when I asked why, he stated it was for warranty purposes. He never explained the warranty. I told him I wasn't comfortable giving out someone else's contact info especially when Mor is not delivering, and it was extremely apparent that he didn't like my response. He stated that Mor doesn't do anything with contact info, then gave me the cell phone to check and sign a box that clearly states Mor uses contact info for marketing purposes. He had scrolled past the fine print terms without explanation, and instructed me to check and sign the box on the phone. He seemed annoyed that I read the terms I was agreeing to. He essentially "checked out" of the sale, and rushed the completion. It was so rushed, he didn't even clarify the items purchased until after the transaction was completed. He had to "verify" something, again not explained and the sale was already completed. My husband was shocked by Sebastians customer service.
It was awkward, and the worst service I've had. At times, it appeared Sebastian didn't want the sale, mentioning negatives like the 6-8week wait. His poor attitude and inability to explain anything, almost blew Jose's sale. If this had been my only buying experience from Mor, I would not return, and could not recommend. Read moreAfter waiting over 3 weeks to receive our new entertainment center we picked it up and brought it home only to find out it was not at all what we ordered. I should have known by the size of the box but failed to notice as it was loaded into my SUV. Upon returning it to Mor Furniture I was informed that they had ordered the wrong one and it would be another 28 days to get what I had thought I originally ordered. Since I had earlier that day tore apart the family room in preparation for the new piece of furniture I was not excited by this option. After negotiation at the store they sold me the floor model for a small discount. It looked decent and had only a few dings in it so I was originally ok with this since it would allow me to put back together my family room. After getting it all set up with all my electronic components in it I tried to slide it the last 6 inches to get it next to the wall. At this time the left side legs buckled under neath the entertainment center and fell completely off. After wrenching my back holding it thing up so with wife could disconnect everything and get it removed, I flipped it completely over to figure out just what the hell had happened. It obviously had been badly damaged previously and the Mor Furniture solution was to staple gun that section of wood back to the entertainment center and pass it off to a customer. It was about 6 staples was he only thing holding it together. I have young children that could have been badly injured by this heavy piece of furniture, who in there right mind would allow this to happen.

Read moreShopped at four local furniture stores last weekend looking for an Accent chair. At the first place, we’ve shopped here for several decades, very lazy staff – as we walked around at least two salespeople were just sitting on the furniture looking at their phones (maybe work related but I doubt it from their laughter). When someone came over they asked what we were looking for and said just look around and they left. At the second place, somewhere where we have shopped numerous times, the salesman, when we finally asked if he worked there (very unprofessional attire), was just arrogant and would not answer questions – told us to just look at the tag. At the third place everyone was more interested in going to the back room to watch the football game than assisting customers and when you could get someone to help, they did not know their inventory or their products without looking everything up. Finally ended up at Mor Furniture. We were greeted by Ashley who was professionally dressed, asked questions about what we were looking for, walked with us to show us what was available on the floor, answered questions about style, color, options, costs, etc. We had some interaction with other salespeople at Mor and they were all very pleasant. Ended up ordering an Accent chair and the order process was simple, and Ashley walked us through the process – new chair will be here in 5 days.
