The Cat & The Coil Tattoo Gallery — Attraction in Kennewick

I want to start off by saying that I was very hesitant about getting another tattoo based from my last experience. ( Done prior to meeting Kris ) After meeting Kris with my wife ( she had a couple tattoos done at this point by him ) I pitched my idea to him and he was on board. So much so I didn't even make it home without him blowing up my phone with reference material for the upcoming tattoo. I could easily see he was getting excited with the idea as much as I was getting it. Couple days before I was scheduled to come in he had me show up for a fitting of the tattoo. At this point we had a game plan and we're going for it. Two days before he messaged me and said the idea was not the one and with some changes in reference material let's try something else. Knowing he knew what I wanted in tattoo I said I have faith and let your creativity shine. Best move I could have made. He spent all day the day before finding material and producing a sketch for the tattoo. Easy to see he wasn't just committed to a tattoo he was committed to a work of art that I will carry with me always. Day of tattoo we started withing minutes of me showing up and I felt like I was at home. Offering snacks and drinks with a full session I had no need of feeling like I had an empty stomach. The location is easy to get to and the shop set up is amazing. Filled with so much art with such fine detail and the majority of it was done by Kris and his girlfriend Alisha What's even better than great hospitality and getting a new tattoo? A new tattoo where you hardly feel a thing. That's right. Hardly felt any of the shading at all. After the line work is done he takes a moment to open the skin up and uses a completely safe numbing agent that after sitting for a few minutes allows him to make huge progress while the client ( me in this case ) doesn't feel a thing. Safe to say after a day of tattooing with Kris he had most definitely resurrected my love for getting tattooed. We have finished our first stage of my tattoo with the black and grey's and the next session once healed will be adding the details and background. Very much happy with this piece more than Kris will ever know. And I am beyond excited to go for my next session!! Thank you Kris (and Alisha ) for everything. Truly an amazing experience! Kris is a true professional and such an amazing artist. I've been a regular of his for 4 years now and trust nobody but him to do all my tattoos. He works with you to come up with the idea of design that you want and makes a masterpiece out of it. He goes above and beyond to make the client happy and truly care about every tattoo he does. He use the best products for ultimate comfort and care and is very sterile and clean with his entire process. If you havent gotten a tattoo from him yet then your truly missing out on one of the best artists and guys in the area. From the moment he starts working with you he customize the experience going as far to make sure he make lunch/dinner that you will like to make sure you are completely taken care of. Give him a chance and I promise he will blow your expectations out...

I came in and saw Kris when I was in tri-cities Washington a couple weeks ago. What a great guy he was and so easy to talk to. I wasn’t 100% sure how I wanted my cover up to go so he sat down with me for a couple hours asking me about my life and interests to try to formulate a perfect piece that was unique to me. Super easy to talk to and really made me feel like he wanted the absolute best for me. I can tell how truly passionate he is about his art work and is a master at his profession. He’s easily the best tattoo artist I have ever seen and wouldn’t want to go to anyone else again. The shop had amazing decor and looked super unique and cool. The shop made it an amazing experience in itself. I really felt welcome and comfortable there. Definitely going back next time I need some work done....
