Let me first say that we've never had any problems at this location. The employees are helpful, the inside is small but clean, and we've always had positive experiences. This was a really horrible experience with an employee named Itzel. We'd gone in with a BOGO ice cream cone that we've had before. The only limitations on the coupon is it excludes waffle cones and you cannot use it with any other coupons or offers. We showed the coupon to her when we first walked in and she said okay. We sampled some flavors, then asked if we got a double scoop do we still get the waffle cone for free. She thought about, then said yes she would do that. We both ordered double scoop waffle cones and went to the register. There she proceeds to charge us almost $9. So of course we asked about why it was so expensive when we're have a BOGO coupon. She replied that the coupon is only good for BOGO scoop of ice cream so she has to charge us the remainder. We look at the coupon, show the coupon to her, no where does it say that it means buy one scoop get one scoop free. She refuses to honor what the coupon says. We asked why she didn't clarify this when we were talking about the coupon at first. She just keeps saying that the coupon which SAYS BOGO, actually means BOGO scoop. We pay then sit down. We aren't happy about the situation, we feel like she definitely lied and manipulated us. So we decide to ask for a refund. She refuses to give us a refund and says to call the manager who is on vacation. So we got the number and the employee's name, Itzel and called. The manager directed her to give us a full refund, she give us $3 and change back. Needless to say we are calling corporate office to complain.
The issue here is that she refused to honor what the coupon says. And she also was leading us to believe that she would honor it as is. If she would've said up front that she should only honor BOGO 1 scoop ice cream cone, this review would not be happening. We probably would've stayed and each gotten one scoop. Read moreThis evening we ordered Baskin Robbins thru Door Dash, DoorDash did a great job, however our order from Baskin Robbins was wrong, our 2 scoop Sundaes only came with 1 scoop; 1 scoop of Pistachio and the other 1 scoop Vanilla w/Reese's peanut butter cup or should I say A smaller than a regular scoop... I called and spoke to Kellen he basically told me I was a liar and he had made my sundae himself and I probably didn’t see both scoops cause sundaes come with “smaller size” scoops, when you order a 2 scoop sundae it’s not equitably to two regular scoops, who knew.
However, I’m not colored blind my husbands sundae was supposed to be a scoop of Pistachio and Rocky Road and mine was a Jamocha almond fudge and Vanilla w/Reese’s peanut butter cup. Needless to say the lady did not get a tip for me because not only did she half ass my order but her attitude as well was rude and impatient and she talked to me like I was stupid.
