I could have gotten 50 items but only got 4 due to prices pretty much double compared to Aldi's. The cashier didn't bother bag items while I paid or bother help me bag. She walked away. I was the only customer in sight. She seemed nice. Maybe poor training. Maybe normal business practice for the company. Who knows. I have been shopping here for 3 years when walking in town for a couple of items. Their cashiers used to be more interested in the job at hand and less spaced out. Read moreItems in the frozen food case are encased in thawed/refrozen ice. Almost everything in the store is expired or about to expire. There have been times when I've left without items I wanted because I couldn't find one that wasn't expired.
Update 1/2/25: this one is my fault. I bought a pack of frozen pierogies before the holidays and just got around to opening them today. Read moreI like the convenience of this store, and the weekly sale prices are okay. Some items come from other quality sellers, such as the baked goods. Today I purchased donuts that are of bakery quality. They taste good, and I think have no preservatives, since they were a little bit firm, but the expiration date couldn't be seen. They have extensive deli and produce departments. They also carry wine and beer.
