Friendly Service and staff members most of the time. Almost every time we go in there the employes remember us and are friendly to us. So overall my experience with this albertsons location is positive but there have been mishaps that have tarnished my experience. There was one time that my other half waited at the deli counter watching 5 people avoid eye contact with us until she had to yell at them that we wanted help and we got a "just a minute." I guess they needed to finish their story first. There have also been a couple of times we have gotten home and I have looked at or receipt and saw they charged us double for something and one time we were charged for 3 extra avocados. I am sure they would have corrected it but I just don't have the time to argue over $10 dollars. The store is fairly clean but I avoid the meat counter since most the meats looks dry and a off color. Also once I was told to go get a bag of 2lb shrimp instead of the guy giving me 1lb from behind the counter. I took it as a warning and purchased the extra 1 lb that went to waste because I couldn't use it. I figure if the meat guy is telling me to go to the freezer to buy food because it is fresher the meats in the counter aren't safe. The only other issues I have with this location is the same I have with all the other Albertsons. The meats tend to be overpriced for the quality and there isn't enough options as far as farms. Produce is good but often overpriced. The store doesn't carry FULL fat Fage or similar FULL fat GREEK yogurts. I generally eat Paleo which I feel there isn't a lot of products that cater to that lifestyle in Alberstsons. Besides my picky complaints the store is decent and I wouldn't avoid it unless you eat healthy and don't like tough meats. Then you should drive all the way into Albuquerque t go to a...
Read moreMy husband and I have shopped this Albertsons every since they took over the bldg when it was Raley's market. It had been our main go to grocery store for over 10 years. Since the change over from Albertsons to Albertsons Market we do not make this our main store any longer. We are now doing most of our shopping at Smith's. Our dollar goes furthar there. This store has really gone downhill since the change. Produce dept has gotten terrible, bananas are always over ripe, bagged potatoes rot very quickly, shelves are not stocked as well as they were before the change. We would spend a minimum of $50.00 per week and there were always great specials, NOT ANYMORE, the big sale always seems to be bottled water. Expiration date on milk is less than 10 days. I could go on and on but I am sure you get the idea that the store is not a "go to" store for us any longer. By the way, since the change we did learn that their distribution point was Arizona and now is Texas as United someone now owns this old Albertsons. It is really too bad, love the clerks at this store and the store manager is great but they only work for the company and have to...
Read moreTotally disappointed!!! When they "changed" their name, although the sign still says Pizza 9, to Chicago Pizza Kitchen I was like sweet, they listened to their customers and made the switch to making what we all know as traditional Chicago Deep Dish Pizza. So I decided to give it a try, even after my awful first experience of which I never went back. Well... Still underwhelming. The pizza had the appearance of a traditional Chicago deep dish pizza. But other than that, it was highly disappointing. The crust was VERY doughy, almost undercooked. The crust I was expecting was a buttery, rich, flaky crust. The toppings were skimpy and way under pressure for the amount of dough. The sauce was runny and watery. I worked at a Pizzeria Uno, the originators of Chicago Deep Dish Pizza so I feel I am a bit of a expert. Their pizza is delicious, loaded with toppings and cheese and covered with a thick, rich, chunky and flavorful sauce. Maybe the owners should go to Chicago and experience what true Chicago Style Deep Dish Pizza is truly like. Very disappointed and underwhelmed. I definitely will not ever go back... I do want to say the staff were...
