Jack in the Box — Restaurant in New Mexico

Updated review for our 12 Oct 2025 - after not eating fast food for quite some time, we decided to have our cheat day dinner at Jack. Worst mistake ever, as they gave us both regular fries instead of one curly and one regular - and the fries were old and cold. The nuggets were gross, tasted like oil and clearly not fresh. The chicken sandwich was sloppily made and the chicken didn't seem fresh, either. The tenders were fine enough but overall, it was a disappointing meal and we hate that our return to fast food was such a massive letdown. The guy at the drive-thru was okay but might need a refresher on "service with a smile."

6 Oct 2023 visit (see photo): We went through the drive-thru, and the gentleman at the window was the most thorough and polite employee at this location! He was amazing. Our food was also made to order and very well, along with being hot, fresh, and delicious. We haven't been here in quite sometime, so it was the best return visit ever and we appreciate y'all!

23 Oct - Although the overall service could use some improvements, they've been open on time and the food has been great. Keep it up!

4 Oct - as a glutton for punishment, I tried again this morning... and all was well today. Only time will tell whether or not it stays this way. Maybe I'll change it to five stars next time.

30 Sept: I gave them another chance this morning, but for the FOURTH time, no one answered at the drive-thru. I won't be back at any time, from now on.

Update 28 Sept 2022: Over the past month and a half and on three separate occasions, they have not answered when I've come through the drive-thru between 0600 and 0630. This is unacceptable. I have to find somewhere else to stop for breakfast before work, which wastes time and causes me to be late.

Original review: I've been to this location multiple times in the past almost three months, and they haven't disappointed me once!

The only complaint I have is how greasy the tacos are; they soak through the wrappers AND the bag, which means extra care to keep said grease at bay would be much appreciated. Otherwise, I am hooked on those tacos even though I know they're not good for me, lmao.

I've also had one of their breakfast burritos, both the chicken tenders and nuggets, both types of fries, and their Jumbo Jack... all items are delicious and have always been fresh. They haven't been too busy anytime I've gone, but no matter what, the employees do their job efficiently and with a smile on their face.

I have to echo the review about how pretty the burger was - the one time I had a Jumbo Jack, it was made so well, it looked like the commercials make them look, lol. I should have taken a pic, but HANGRY. ;)

Never have I ever had such horrible customer service! We ordered a large order including a meal for the homeless lady in Bernalillo. When we got to Don Thomas we didn't have her food. We looped back I put on my mask and went inside. The young lady denied my request for my food she bagged it no problem. I do have a problem I didn't get my food. She refused so I went and got the bags, to bring inside, duribg COVID. My kids ate the fry's and OJ as they were hungry and this is the purpose of stopping. I have never ever been treated so in humane. First off if she is expiditing, that doesn't mean she handed me my food. Second off, my apologies for trying to patornise your business. As I told the lady when I left all the food minus the juice and Fry's. I would like a refund for the food we didn't take due to her attitude and honestly, for her to assume people who live in Bernalillo don't speak Spanish. Showed up today to get food around 930pm And the website says it’s open til 12 and the lights were on. The drive through signs were on, but waiting at drive through for ordering and no one answered. Went to window no one was there. Had about 7 different cars in line to get an order and no one answered. I can see if the lights were off or the drive through lights or even a sign saying it was closed. We purchased food on the app, so it was processed but couldn’t get our food. Was pretty ridiculous for a fast food restaurant I not have any signs up saying it’s closed. Also having lights seems not good. Would like a refund for the items purchased. Even called another Jack in the box to see if this was closed and they said it should be open. Had to drive all the way to the other Jack in the box. The other staff at the other location was...
