I agree with the reviews that the meat is amazing. However, the customer service was brutal. The 2 girls attending were preoccupied hanging out with their friend, very unprofessional, to spend the time needed on their actual responsibilities. The 2 boys attending don’t speak Spanish and seem confused when you speak with them. They are also preoccupied chit chatting to lend the time needed for proper customer service. The female cashier is rude, unprofessional and threw my receipt in the bag upset that I had taken her away from the male friend that was a hanging out with them. Forget about saying thank you, I guess that’s overrated when you have a thriving business. I know the owner sells enough to not care or need my opinion or my business but I still wanted to shed light on my experience. It’s the only meat market I have used for the last 2 years, it’s time to find a new place where I’m not interrupting the teams high school hangout. The noted reviews on their page as it pertains to customer service are definitely fabricated. Good luck on the team there serving you with the basic education needed. I encourage the owner to check his cameras on this Sunday 09/08 @10:45am to observe the level of professionalism he trust his employees with. Unless the cashier is his family which would validate her arrogance and cynical approach. Please check the undeliverable email picture when you try to reach out to state your experience.

I was turned on to this meat market by a co worker of mine who said they had great cuts of meat, including Wagyu cuts. Now, for those that don’t know, only a certificated few in the country actually serve Japanese A5 Wagyu. If a location does, they’ll have displayed their certificate and appropriate paperwork as proof of this. THIS PLACE IS ONE OF THOSE PLACES. They have both Japanese Wagyu as well as Australian Wagyu. They also have a ton of other cuts as well to include chicken, chorizo, carne asada, etc. I purchased two 12oz cuts of Stone Axe Australian Wagyu for a get together and cooked it exactly to recommended specs. I can confidently say I’ve never had a steak like this in my life! NEVER! Buttery. Melted in my mouth. They also sell homemade flour tortillas which were delicious. You gotta try to Frijoles Puercos too. I bought some of their flake sea salt which I used on my steak. Great!!!! I don’t know of another butcher shop in my area like this one, so I can’t compare it to much. But this place is clean, close, and has high quality cuts (also tomahawks)

Absolutely amazing!! This is hands down, the best asada We have ever had. It’s a nice, thicker than average cut of meat and the marinade they use is absolutely delicious. I’ve had a lot of asada but this is by far the best. My husband went in to purchase and said it was so clean and organized, plus amazing customer service. The employee gave him some salsa and chorizo to try for his first time being there. I don’t eat pork, but the smell while the chorizo cooked was soooo amazing! I was skeptical when I would drive by the new riverside location because the exterior was very nice and I wanted a hole in the wall type carnicería. Now this is our go to place for meat and salsa! To end, I am a sucker for packaging and appreciate that the marinated asada isn’t just thrown into freezer paper and wrapped. I love the time they take to make it presentable. My only regret is that we didn’t try this place sooner!
