See's Candies...A classic in quality chocolates! I frequently stop by this store--not just for the chocolates, but for the store employee, "Mel" is SO sweet (pun intended), she greets everyone with a genuine welcome salutation and she remembers customers favorites!! She's definitely knowledgeable about holiday merchandise and let's you know what's coming soon (e.g.--Valentine's, Mothers Day, etc.) This location is located on Central Avenue just off the 91 Freeway; next to Jack In The Box and in front of Vons; easy to see from a moving vehicle. Best way to access parking is from Central Avenue but be very careful of traffic and pedestrians; Central Avenue is a busy street and you'll need to cross over the sidewalk. From Central Avenue, the parking is diagonal style; if you miss this entrance, you'll need to access parking from the rear of the building and you'll be going the wrong direction. There's 4 straight parking stalls on the right but they can be difficult to access if the parking lot is busy or people are passing through to get to Vons. This See's Candies store is on the southern perimeter of the Riverside Plaza; the Plaza is a very busy shopping hub and with most public shopping areas, has a homeless element; a safety caution is warranted, especially under the veil of darkness or remote areas.

I'm not one to eat candy, but anytime I am done filming either a movie or TV show, my husband Richard and I stop by Sees to treat ourselves with a delicious piece of chocolate. Visiting this store is a fun adventure, since the staff makes us feel regal. What a delicious way to celebrate life.

Getting some sweets from See's Candies! Getting expensive, but once in a while, is okay. Parking was at ease when it's not crowded. We grab some boxes of candies that were 50% off.

Fresh and delicious candy. One of the best locations I've been to. They have new protocol right now with the phone ordering and paying with your card over the phone. Yum !!! That delicious free piece of candy just to enter this place makes it worth it.
