Horrible horrible service from the wax lady. This was my first time there and I will surely NEVER be back. I went in for my eyebrows, she did np prep work on them such as brushing them befprehand to get a cleaner finish, she did the waxing very quickly, less than 3 mins and when i looked in the mirror i was so upset. My eyebrows were so uneven, the wax line was jagged, some hair pieces were still too long like she didnt use scisors to cut em down even. I told her on the spot i didnt like it but i still paid. However when i got to my car to look more, i almost cried so I went back in to request a refund and this lady had the NERVE to tell me she doesnt see whats wrong with them (after i physically pointed out the issues) and said I'm just trynna get free service. I have never been so disrespected in my life! $15 and she thought I just wanted em done for free? I have wax at home, i coulda did it myself if that was the case. And its JUST $15. But I'm not about to pay someone to mess my eyebrows up. She kept repeating "oh you just want free service" as she processed my refund. I had to raise my voice and explain to her that she needs to learn to take constructive criticism from her clients. Not everyone is going to like what she does. If it was bad, it was bad! Work on your...
Read moreThis business advertises a student discount for a full set of nails for $22.
I dropped my high school daughter off there to get a full set put on and ended up being charged $28. $1 was for the nail buffer they provide which is fine as I was aware of that beforehand. My issue though, is the additional $5 charge. They told her it was because her nails were "long". (They're average length in my opinion - far from long but definitely not nubs) I ended up going up there to talk to them about because it didn't make sense. So, when I arrive and asked about it and pointed out the fact that no where inside nor outside of their establishment does it state that the $22 only applies to ''short'' nails, they rudely told me it wasn't enough space on their window to add the disclaimer. What the what????? They just decided to invoke their own "don't ask don't tell" policy, I guess. Bottom line and my point to them was the lack of transparency and communication. This is poor business practice because even if it wasn't enough space on the windows, there are countless workers in there who have mouths and could have verbally communicated this before the services were provided. I'm inclined to believe they were preying on the fact that my 15 year old was...
Read moreIf you want a staph infection, come to this salon. I watched as the nail tech about to start my pedicure, went to grab USED utensils from another nail tech who was completing a pedicure on another client. My nail tech took the used utensils and rinsed them under water and used a dirty towel to dry them off. When I told them I wanted new utensils to be used they acted like I was speaking another language. No apology, no acknowledgment, they just got clean instruments and started the pedicure. Nothing at this nail salon is single use. They re-use everything. I have gotten an infection before from a nail salon with said practices. The salon is filthy. It's ran by Kim, she is fake nice & fake genuine. I’ve seen her countless times arguing with customers for their outrageous up-charges for sub par-crooked work. She up-charges for each and every single thing.. paying with a card is $4 extra. A gel pedicure with dirty tools used by the person in the chair next to you costs $62. No paraffin wax, no stones, and the once white now brown hot towels (wash cloth sized). Definitely not a peaceful place to come get your nails done. I will not be back as the risk of infection...
