Great for food/electronics/whatever else, but TERRIBLE for tires. DO NOT BUY TIRES FROM HERE!
The employees are nice enough, but they don't care about the customers. Every time I take my car in, they find something wrong with one of the four tires. Fine, it probably was bad enough to need to be fixed, so I ordered two new tires per their suggestion. Almost $400 later, I'm driving out, and my car starts to shake pretty hard, even at 20 mph. They say that the tires were rotated, so they just need to wear in. A month later, I take it back in, the problem obviously not getting better. They say one of my tires (one of the two I didn't have replaced, of course) has a busted belt. Why they didn't notice that when they were inspecting all of my tires, I will never know (I originally complained of constant bumping, and of leaking air). They say I need two NEW tires in addition to the two I had ordered a month prior. Great way to get me to buy four new tires: neglect to tell me about issues that "TRAINED SPECIALISTS" should have been able to see off the bat.
So I'm forced to order two NEW tires. I tell the guy to order the exact same ones that I bought the prior month. They come in the next Monday. I have to make an appointment for the following Monday, as they didn't have any times after 5pm that I could make, since I had to, you know: work. I go in on Saturday before my appointment to get them changed out, and they noticed they ordered the wrong size. The guy ordered a 17" when I needed an 18". He didn't look at my old order, he just looked at the tire model, and the size that the base model of my car needs, not what my upgraded model requires. Great, another wait. They come in Monday afternoon, and, since I already had an appointment for Monday at 6pm (to get my tires changed out the first time), and I get in right away. Thankfully, Ryan was apologetic and got me right in and got the new tires on pretty quickly, much quicker than the one hour I was told before that it would take to change out two tires.
Then some other guy comes out and tells me I'm all ready to go, but that one of my wheels is "bent." He says that, "[I]must have run over a bad pothole." Why is it that they didn't notice this problem at all before now? My tires had been off a total of three times; why did it take them until just now to see that? Of course, I can't go after them, because there's no way I can prove anything, and they know that. I would be willing to accept my hitting a pothole as the cause had it been noticed before hand, or had I not been told that my tire with the busted belt could pop if I drove too hard on it--I was nursing these tires along for a month, and I know that I didn't hit any major potholes, but of course now it's my word vs. theirs, so it won't really matter what I say.
In the end, the price of tires can actually be more expensive than other places, especially when you realize that you're going to be scammed into buying four tires regardless of what you need. Firestone has better deals than them, and I've never had an issue with their guys telling me (on the junker I had before my current car) I needed something that could have been prevented. Had the people at Costco Tires done what I asked them to do (inspect my tires for vibrations and leaking air), they would have inspected each tire the first time and noticed the problems. Had that happened, I would have only had to purchase two tires, not the four I eventually ended up with. I will never go back to Costco Tires, and I am steering everyone I know away from them. Their employees are at best: negligent, and at worst: dirty. I'm sure the employees mean well, but they didn't do what I asked, and their carelessness ended up costing me hundreds of dollars, and potentially hundreds more if the bent wheel becomes a problem in the future. Over $750 and two months later, I can finally get away from their tire...
Read moreSigning up for our membership today I must say the woman behind a counter was very very nice I wish I was good with names because I would give hey huge credit to her for her kindness hospitality and compassion
This store is extremely extremely busy I do say when you check out they make the process much much faster than Sam's club
The pizza was fantastic You couldn't ask for better pizza and it was done in record time a whole pizza was made for us literally in a record time might have to say of approximately 5 to 6 minutes if that
The staff here is very very friendly wonderful people very wonderful Even the gas attendant was very helpful because I didn't know how to use the Costco card I'm trying to get it the scan and it's not scanning lol
The downfall to all of this is exiting the parking lot it is very very difficult Also like Sam's club all the security measures that are in place I really dislike the fact I have to stand in a line to have someone see my receipt upon leaving it really pisses me off Our local Walmart does that and I laugh at them I tell them hey you just watched me check out there is absolutely no reason for you to see my receipt You watched me pay for my items
It's a very touchy subject with me when it comes to this matter because I literally am paying for my stuff you have two people with the register one counting all the items in the cart and the other checking you out and then you have to have somebody else play this game it's ridiculous
I understand they're just doing their jobs and it's a shame that there's a lot of people in the world that's steal Sometimes with the cost of items nowadays and how it keeps going up and escalating quicker and quicker some people cannot make ends meet and I do feel bad for those folks
Sometimes you have to give up things in order to be able to have other things It is unfortunate but that's the way it is nowadays
I do recommend Costco this is a nice place and...
Read moreWe had a situation on 08/06 at Robinson warehouse due to my wife dropping her Bankcard all the way through a tiny gap in the Self-Checkout Terminal and though multiple folks came and tried to take it back, they realized it’s not as easy as they thought. However, there were two superheroes’ (Both of them called John) who didn't give up the situation and they would really need to help us to take the card back. Though they had limited tools and ideas about how the self-checkout terminal was installed, they did supper analysis around it and tried to make a path to the area where our bank card was dropped. After 1.5-hour effort, they managed to remove several bolts and reached the area where the card was dropped and found our bank card.
If this happens either Walmart, Sam club or another place, they would have simply discarded the support and asked customers to find out their own way. But I’m glad Costco didn’t treat us like that and two of the employees called Josh, made a tremendous effort out of his regular duties and thought of assisting us to save ourselves from the unexpected situation faced.
I always preferred Costco and trust Costco brands which are having higher quality. But now onwards Costco proved that they have amazing customer service too which can’t beat with any other retail shops. Honestly speaking, I don’t think anywhere people volunteer to help others out of his job duties to support customers as two of Josh’s did for us and we would be really thankful to them for all the tremendous support given to us. I know the pain they had to go through in-order to re-install the parts they had removed and no one wanted to put their-self in trouble as these two gentlemen did in-order to give better customer experience and satisfaction through it was a rush day (Saturday).
I’m not sure they will see our feedback here, but would appreciate it if someone could forward/ show this to them and share our big...
