This store and Crystal Edge, vendor booth 97, are both a joke. Do not purchase from Crystal in booth 97. She posted a buffet for sale on her personal Facebook which I saw in the marketplace. At first, I had no idea this item was located in a store. I messaged her on a Monday about the buffet. She went to the store and measured it for me so I could make sure that it would fit a spot in our house. By Wednesday it was agreed upon that it was mine and that I would pick it up first thing Saturday morning knowing that I had a 2 1/2 drive one way. She made me confirm that I would be there before she went to the store to mark it sold. I confirmed and she told me she would go to the store and mark it sold. I was at the store at exactly 10 on Saturday morning when they opened only to find that the buffet was marked SOLD to another buyer. Coincidentally, Crystal was there dropping off other items. I explained to her that someone else’s name was on the SOLD sticker. She said, “Oh, the store must’ve sold it yesterday.” I replied, “Well you sold it to me on Wednesday through Facebook and that I drove 2 1/2 hours to pick it up.” She stated she didn’t know what to do and that she would go talk to the manager on how to fix this. I waited in her booth for 45 minutes only to find out she left the store when I went upfront to find her. YES, she left the store and left me standing there after she told me to wait in her booth and she’d be right back. At this point I was livid. While the manager was in the phone wit my her another vendor told me that this wasn’t the first time this has happened to Crystal. While we were talking Crystal was texting the other vendor and asked if I had left the store so she could come back and finish dropping her items off. I showed the vendor and the manager my Facebook messages because Crystal was telling the manager an entire different story about how I was irate that the item was sold and showed up to get it anyway...absolutely not! Why would someone drive a 332 mile round trip for something that is sold? She panicked and left the store so she didn’t have to handle the situation. Anyway, the store couldn’t fix the issue. I asked for gas money and the manager offered me a gift card only if I used it that day...YES, only if I used it that day...BULL! I declined as it was already 12:45 and I had a long drive home yet. I was very impressed with the store when I first walked in, however, after being treated this way I will NEVER go back to that store. It’s a loss for them as my wife and I would’ve definitely purchased a lot of items to furnish the Victorian home we recently purchased. I do want to thank the other vendor I spoke with for trying to find a solution to the situation even though it wasn’t her problem or issue to solve. Don’t waste your money or your time there! Crystal in booth 97 is a joke!
