I was there tonight to watch a comedy show and while Steve was hilarious, I was not a fan of the location. 100+ people packed into a tiny room with music playing obnoxiously loud right next to us. It was VERY distracting. Plus, people kept coming in and out to get drinks which was also distracting and made the music louder. Steve even asked if they would turn it down a little and they say "not a chance". So basically screw us watching the show, the bowlers need to have their eardrums blown out. 5 stars for Steve, 2 for the bowling alley...

IT was a good place on a rainy afternoon, but felt a little crowded. Did not try anything from the snack bar and the menu seemed pretty limited. Staff was pleasant and helpful. (They don't sell socks, so make sure to wear or bring them)

An old school bowling alley with incredibly friendly staff. It's a great place to take your family. I love that it doesn't have an arcade and other attractions because the simplicity is the magic here.

My local aalley is closed for the summer, so decided to test drive the Rockford lanes. The owner greeted my party and we BSed for a bit before getting set up. We usually bowl 4/5 games, and about 4 frames into game two he asked if the lanes were too dry. He moved us, scores and all; into one that must have been oiled today because the balls broke perfectly and my spare ball slid out for the ten pin flawlessly. It’s only one of experience, but I’ll get my weekly games in here for at least the summer. I may drive the extra 20 miles after that because it’s he owner s and ma like a solid dude and he shoots straight. The world could use a bit more of that in my estimation. Anyways, great owner, decent lanes, and a guy that’s looking to make bowling fun for you. Heck, he’ll be Ben coach you if you want. I’m going back a bunch. Let’s keep these local things going. Great times and great people. If you’re on the fence…just go there. It’s worth...

This place is far too expensive for what it's worth. Took my kids here after reading the previous reviews and was I ever disappointed. The lanes are well kept, but the rest of the place is a dump. The food is absolutely aweful and over priced. Ordered a cheeseburger and I got a microwaved burger from Costco... Still in the wrapper. The rest of the food made us sick. Probably because they haven't changed the burnt oil in their fryer in weeks, and you can tell because the entire place smells like an oil fire. We went and played 2 games and got pushed out because there was a league coming in they failed to mention. If you haven't been here or aren't a regular pass and go somewhere else. Unless you enjoy food poisoning and smelling...

My visit to this bowling alley lasted maybe 45 seconds. The first 30 we were waiting for the lady in front of us to get done talking to the clerk at the counter. These two ladies seemed to know each other and were in good spirits, smiling whilst ending their conversation. The next 15 seconds was the clerk turning her asking “are you here for open bowl?” In a nonchalant manner. When we replied “yes”, she looked at me, my wife, and my 5 year old son and said“We don’t have any” in an annoyed tone of voice and walked away. No wait times, no “sorry about that”, nothing. Just completely rejected us like we were trash and went on her merry way. I understand I will never be back to this bowling alley. sour first...
