Rockford Dam Overlook — Attraction in Rockford

So me and my girlfriend Jen. We always go there at night and the last time we went. We haven't been there in a while but the last time we walking across the dam over to the trail. And as soon as we walked to the trail, I turned my head lamp on which it wasn't coming on. For some reason, it was weird, but just charged on the way down there. Of course. So as soon as I turn it on. I have a high focus like yellow beam. And there's a person kneeling down in the corner of the trail like the left side of it and I was like. What the heck is that and it like stood up startled and looked at me and then folded in half and angle that self towards the hill and did like 2 float stop hops. I guess but it's feet we're never moving. And it was like a vapor person. Who had seen through like fog or something? I can't really explain it pretty cool. When we got back to the car, we looked online to see if any.\n Body else had anything like that happened to them there. There's even been but Paranormal people there that made contact with this...

The city of Rockford is all about the Dam! And one doesn't have to wonder why when strolling about the promenade. It's absolutely stunning! Built in 1844, this dam is the highlight of anyone's visit to Rockford. The Dam is at the center of a lot of unique businesses and restaurants and is across the street from an incredible ice cream parlor. Me and the fam came here on a very cold, windy day, but it was still nonetheless spectacular! At the Dam you can access two parks on each side, Peppler and Garden Club, where we found some much-needed fire pits to warm up! You can also access two trails here, White Pine and the boardwalk Rogue River Nature Trail. The Overlook also provides many benches and a lot of great fishing spots. We had just taken our grandchildren and daughter over to the corner bar one of our favorite Hangouts, and we decided to finish it off with a trip over to the dam. I was very impressed with the work that they had done on the surroundings of the dam, the niceties, the plants the water fall on the other side of the river. My compliments to the people of Rockford, their tax dollars are being well spent in this regard. If you haven't been there lately, you owe it to yourself to go and check it out.
