I have been attending Rogue River Tavern since I was 25 years old. Over 10 years being a patron and customer. I have always enjoyed my experience here. The food has always tasted good. My fan favorites are the sirloin steak, chicken fajitas, and the taco salad. In 2021, I had an accident at the restaurant where I smashed my head. It was from donating plasma. I know the staff were worried about me. I still come to eat at Rogue River Tavern. Wishing their bands/live music come back. That was my favorite thing about the place. Personal story: I worked for Careology Home Healthcare. I saw and witnessed many people become infected with Sars Mers NV2 virus. Also known as: Covid-19. I saw severe and complicated symptoms of the mutated viral strands. I spent three years conducting research into the contagion. It was proceeded from Sars Mers NV1 virus from Wuhan, China. The spread was caused from close person contact, sharing utensils and personal hygiene clothing/towels. The viral strands were also targeting livestock, wild animals, fish, and many food supply sources. The vaccine is called Strim/o/voxin it doesn't exist yet. China and America classified the virus under the plague: pneumonic and bubonic plague. Followed by the American Flu vaccine. The genetic make-up of Sars causes mutations and rapid exposure. Many people still believe the deaths weren't real. - I was infected with Sars Mers NV2 virus in 2022. I almost lost my life to the virus. Hair loss, toe nails falling off, difficulty breathing, and extreme fatigue and weakness. My client attended church in Kentwood, MI and stated church members were dying from the virus. My client died a month later.

I read a good number of reviews before trying rogue river tavern and saw a number of them talking about the “atmosphere” being really nice. I decided to give it a try and was pretty disappointed. The food wasn’t anything to rave about, just average Applebee’s level food. The spinach artichoke dip was good but that’s the only thing that stood out. As for this atmosphere that kept getting pointed out, I feel like it’s necessary to point out that this place is VERY lax with the mask rules. If you’re someone that cares about public health and the pandemic, I would avoid this place until the number of infections go down. Our waitress was good about wearing her mask, however there were other bartenders and waitresses walking around without a mask. All of the mask mandate steps are clearly performative as there’s no actual enforcement of mask wearing or safety procedures being taken. Just signs up because they have to be. A number of customers could be seen walking freely around the bar without a mask to the lottery machines in the back or the bathrooms. If I do go back, it’ll be after the number of COVID cases drop back down. But because of places like this, I doubt that’ll be any time soon.

I was excited to stop at Rogue River Tavern Saturday night but it fell short. Our food was okay (I saw a post describing it as bar food and I would agree with that). Prices were reasonable but then everything was extra. I had a burger which they said would be cooked to order, my medium rare request came in at well done which was probably because it is a thin burger patty. My sons said his chicken strips were good but the tater tot’s tasted fishy, which we all agreed and mentioned it to the m waitress…no new tots were brought out and we were still charged for the fishy tasting tots. My wife’s steak Philly sandwich was okay but dry and when she asked for some au ju she was told it would be an up charge. My daughter’s wing basket was okay, I thought they were a little soggy, and my other son’s cheese burger was fine. The waitress was nice and the atmosphere was okay.

We realize the crew was lightly staffed, but we had a rough experience at the tavern. Our server got our appetizer order in quickly but took an order for a table that sat after us for main course before ours. We ordered the River burger and the Cajun Chicken Alfredo with a baked potato. The table next to us ordered 4 main courses and were done eating before we had to ask where our food was ( about 45 minutes after ordering). We’re both in the industry and understand the ability and ticket time required for the food we ordered. The alfredo was cold, and when we asked if it was Cajun we were quickly told “yes” when it obviously wasn’t. The baked potato had no butter, nor did our server return to ask if we needed anything, I’m sure because they were nervous because we had waited so long. The two of us left the Alfredo untouched and split half a burger. We asked for our check and waited 10-15 minutes to hand the check back to our server who never returned to our table. We wanted to offer our simple feedback, not for a discount but because it would be beneficial for the staff there to learn from the customers point of view what had gone wrong. Since our server never returned we left cash and walked out and are providing the...

Decent food overshadowed by terrible service. We stopped in for dinner and ended up sitting next to a rowdy table of strictly drinkers who kept adding more tables and chairs to their party with zero regard for their surroundings, leaning on me as I was trying to eat to the point I had to move to the other side of the table next to my dinner companion just to not be touched by strangers. Which gave a prime view to watch our server cater to their every whim and need, while she never once came back to our table after we placed our food orders without having to be waved down in dramatic fashion just to remotely get her attention to get our bill/a box to leave asap, it was such a poor environment to be in. Which was a shame, since it was our intention to have more drinks after dinner and enjoy the football game. We had more interaction with the guy who brought our food from the kitchen, and she clearly didnt have any interest in providing service to anyone but them as she hurriedly brought the tab and rushed back to her important table without asking how the meal was or really saying much of anything. Definitely not a great impression for a first timer, wouldn't recommend unless you want to maybe...
