Rockford Community Cabin

The cabin is a great space in downtown Rockford for events. We held my daughter's graduation party here and it was easy from the initial contact for renting to the drop box of the key return. They do book out a year in advance so make sure you mark your calendar to call prior to your event. The space has a nice sized kitchen with a big refrigerator/freezer. A couple of warming ovens as well as microwaves. There is also a 3 set sink for washing up. There is a cute fireplace in the main area and it has plenty of tables/chairs for you to use as well. Clean, large usable space for hosting mid-size gatherings with plenty of parking, which neighbors a school where you can take advantage of the playground and open space as well. Would recommend for family reunions, larger baby showers, etc. There are multiple round and rectangle tables and plenty of chairs available for use, as well as a full kitchen and double stall men's and women's restrooms and a projector with multiple ways to connect. My fiance's family had her Easter/her grandpa's 90th birthday party here and it worked out great! I haven't been to the cabin since 09' before then and it's still in great shape after a big renovation back in 08'. Would have been even better with nice weather. Good place for a family...
