Do NOT book your party here – save your money and go anywhere else, like Urban Air I paid a $200 deposit weeks ahead for a 2:00 party and was told I could bring desserts and decorations. However, from the start, this was a mess. I arrived 20 minutes early to check in (as suggested), and they weren’t ready. No host with our cart, and no birthday shirt (despite choosing a size in advance, they didn't have it, so my son got a random Sky Zone promotional shirt). Kids had to sit on the floor to put on socks because of a lack of seating - there is nothing at the front of the building near check-in.
Our "party host" never came to find us. I had to track down our replacement host, who was busy cooking pizzas for the entire building. The seating was extremely limited – there were more arcade games than places to sit.
The party room wasn’t ready on time either. They blamed a “system issue” for not having a buffer between parties and didn’t inform me beforehand. I had to change the time to 3:30 so we could set up, which wasn’t ideal for guests who’d already been waiting for over an hour. The host didn’t help with setup at all. Pitchers were refilled twice, and he only 'served' pizza. He was hardly in the room at all (probably busy cooking pizzas).
The drinking fountains were also duct taped and unplugged. The bathrooms were filthy, and the baby changing table is hanging on the wall for dear life. The jumping areas were ratty and outdated (the foam cubes looked chewed on).
At checkout, the cashier told me my balance - $232.50 - and asked how much I wanted to tip. I generously chose 20%, and I looked at my receipt on the way home and realized they charged me 20% of the TOTAL party price ($72!), not the balance. They were NOT clear on this when asking for a tip. When I called to fix it, they made me come back to adjust the tip, and I got $26 back so that the tip was 20% of the $232 balance instead - $46.
And just when I thought it was over, they’ve been hounding me with calls, emails, and texts to resolve their mistake - apparently they refunded the $26 as part of the party instead of the tip so now I have a "balance" because they can't fix it internally. It's not my problem. I'll have to call corporate to stop the harrassment. Save yourself the headache and book...
Read moreGO TO URBAN AIR INSTEAD!!! This place is a rip off! My daughter enjoyed her birthday party so we bought memberships. I don’t know why, because the AC hasn’t worked in that place since I first initially had my daughter’s birthday party there. You literally have to keep jumping to cool off. The only place in that entire building where you can somewhat cool down is the restrooms. The food is overpriced, and horrible. They should allow outside food being brought in or they need to fix whatever they’re serving because it’s garbage. I recently moved and sky zone is out of my way so I wanted to cancel our memberships. They require you to go in person to cancel your membership. I stated I no longer wanted their services ABA AM too far and they still kept charging my card and I had to do a 45 minute commute to have my membership canceled which is ridiculous. After looking through all the terms and conditions on their website, and all the benefits that members get, we didn’t receive a majority of what we were supposed to. We were charged for things that were supposed to be included as being members and we never got a discount on our food but that doesn’t really matter because that only happened once becauseI’m the food is that bad. The place is staffed by younger high school kids that haven’t been properly trained. Another gross thing that happened is my sister lost her phone in one of the foam pits. They told us we had to go look for it ourselves, so which we did. I guess they only change the foam or clean them in general every six months. I dug to the bottom of that pit with a group of teenage boys that helped me all while staff stood by and just watched. I found a pair of car keys, the amount of socks was disgusting, the foam blocks were breaking down, and just turning into powder towards the bottom. If they properly rotated the foam cubes, they wouldn’t disintegrate like that and it would be a lot easier for people to find lost belongings instead of Being eaten by a stinky sock foam powder abyss at the bottom of each pit. We realize that we didn’t want the phone after seeing where it...
Read moreFun place. Expensive compared to the other nearby places if you want to accompany your kids. If you like to, or if your kids want you to come play with them it's substantially cheaper to drive the 5 miles to Urban Air. I'm going there next time. 5$ for parent vs 20+ for anyone pass.
I had fun, they had fun but I spent over $80 for two hours when I could have spent $65 and had bowling, laser tag, and all day play at Urban Air 10 minutes away. That was disappointing given we were at Urban Air and decided to come here. Even the kids wanted to go back to Urban Air next time and it was a substantially better value if you as an adult want to join.
If you are just a sole kid, or a couple kids by yourselves you will have fun. We had fun.
If you primarily care about value then I can only recommend a competitor. You can spend 37$/kid for a premium pass which includes bowling and laser tag and every other activity in the building and just 5$ for an adult to do whatever they are doing.
So $65 for all day with bowling, laser tag, virtual reality games, and a sky rider ride or $10 more for no bowling, no laser tag, No virtual Reality, and no Sky Rider ride and only 90 minutes of play.
I had fun, we had fun even when they got bored of not having anything new, but we would have had MORE fun for LESS at the other place.
If Skyzone can't add more than Urban Air they should at least be a better value than Urban Air. If you're looking to take your kids to a trampoline park: they will have fun. How much fun for how much money depends on you.
My costs were based entirely on how much I spent taking two children (8 and 6) and myself to each park. I went to Skyzone first and tried to spend the same at Urban Air, but spent less including the drive time.
The kids want to go back because they love it but given I can contrast and compare I'm afraid this isn't...
