Top-notch service and attention to any computer issues that I had. Sherif is a personable, considerate and thorough technician who does his best to ensure that whatever problem you have is taken care of and that your computer is working as it should. My dealings with Sherif and Computer Paramedics have been top-notch. It’s good to have a “go-to” computer repair business for any of my computer-related needs. Honest, fair and reasonable- Highly Recommend!
July 2023: It's been a few years since I used the services of Sherif at Computers Paramedics. I originally had a problem recently with another of my computers that involved the graphic card. When Sherif diagnosed it, he also found out that my hard drive was close to being "kaput". He suggested that I replace it with a Solid State Hard Drive. He had to order one since he had no spares in shop. I waited for about a week and then Sherif told me it was ready- TALK ABOUT A DIFFERENCE!! My computer is lightning-fast now (and the graphics card is OK too) - THANKS SHERIF! Fast, top-notch service (As usual!)
March 29 2024- Once again, Computers Paramedics to the rescue! I tried to install two new computer memory units to my remaining memory banks on my computer. I've done this before, so I figured "No sweat!" Boy was I wrong. After I installed the memory, my computer just would not come alive. After multiple checks and double checks, I threw up my hands. I called Sherif and he told me to bring it in the next morning. When I took my computer in, I recounted all my actions to Sherif. He had the problem solved in a matter of minutes. It turns out one of the two brand new memory cards I purchased was NO GOOD. As soon as he tested and then removed the offending card, my computer was back again and humming along as before. I told Sherif that from now on, if I want to add or modify anything on my machine, I will take it to Computers Paramedics and have it done. Believe me, it is worth not to put up with the hassle. Read moreSo far so good. My lenovo had a broken hinge (not an easy fix unfortunately) Shariv had my computer done in two days. He did some sodering to get me back up and running and informed me that if he had ordered parts it would get costly but he stands by his work. Honestly, after checking out the break myself lenovo have a great software and interface but the hardware is sooo flimsy! So, that being said I know Shariv had his work cut out for him. The fix isn't the prettiest at the moment, but I'm more concerned about function, so far so good! The sodering made a small bit of the housing pop up a bit so I am letting a tack dry before I try to close it. But for now all looks well.
I will update my review once we see how this holds up or if I have to make another visit.
Thank you again Shariv for the quick turnaround! I'm confident in a 5th star when I update!
(Before and after photos included)
Update 5 stars!
So my hinge failed again and of course ture to their word computer paramedics stood by their work! We had a few ups and down with getting parts (out of their control and definitely a shipping thing), but they kept me in formed with quick replies to my questions (I never had to wait more than 24 hours for a reply) To sum it up: they are up front, accommodating, honest, fair and friendly! Sometimes, computers are fickle things, like cars, and it is always good to know a great tech! Thank you guys for taking your time and being fair and professional the whole way through!
Edit: this issue was never resolved fully and then my screen was broken in their care. They replaced the screen but now the touch screen function I need the device for no longer works. The computer has been sitting collecting dust. I tried to get in touch with them a few rmtimes to get it fixed properly but eventually it just got too tedious to...
Read moreHi- This is George Huber (signing in on my wife's account)- I recently read a negarive review of Sherif Saleh and his business, Computers Paramendics by a person with the initials T.B.. In this review, she used phrases like "the old man (meaning Sherif will screw you"; that he "Hicks (I think she meant "hikes") up the price" and that Sherif was a "Greedy father". Folks, nothing could be farther from the truth. Look at my three previous posts from past dealings with Sherif and Computers Paramedics. I cannot say enough good about this place or abour Sherif and his son Adam (whom T.B. called Andy, by the way- this kind of shows that she probably did not pay attention to what was being told to her about procedures and/or price). I have had nothing but praise to Computers Paramedics in the past and just recently when Sherif took DAYS to resurrect my computer from (what I thought was) the Dead. I have had nothing but friendly, upright interactions with Sherif and son and give nothing but praise for his fair and honest dealings. If you don't believe me, just look at the bulk of the other reviews (most of which are 5-star, by the way) about Computers Paramedics- you will see words like "Outstanding"; "Excellent"; "Amazing"; "Fantastic"; "Professional" and, above all "Ethical". Ignore any and all low reviews about Computers Paramedics- the small number of those low reviews were probably written by people who did not understand what work had to be done or what the price would entail for the amount of technical work to be done. Computers Paramedics is the place to go for professional, knowledgeable and expert repair services for a FAIR price... by BOTH...
