Such a fun experience! Highly recommend you go. You need reservations and to get waivers signed prior to coming. We did the gold package for 4 hrs and we were able to leisurely do every adventure but we didn’t feel like doing the rock climbing because I had nails and from experience it’s hard for me to rock climb with long nails. We arrived early as indicated and got checked in. It wasn’t until exactly at 9am that the staff started to gear us up and provided detailed safety and gear instructions. There was a mini class before we were allowed to explore and we practiced hands on with the gear. Pretty straight forward but pay attention because the gear seems simple to use but when put into action you don’t want to skip or forget a small vital step. There were plenty of staff around to help us at every course and they were friendly. One staff member assisted us by showing us where to put our water bottle lol it was a neat little trick they showed us on our harness. Free water was available all over the park. Anytime we had to wait before a new course there was staff nearby that it didn’t take long to get started. The different adventures were challenging even for an active person like myself.
What to wear: close toed shoes are mandatory. Comfy shorts or pants. Sports bra and athletic shirt. This is a lot of physical activity so be in athletic clothes. Sunscreen, sunglasses and hat are recommended in the summer hot weather. Wear a Fanny pack for personal items or rent a locker from the park. The parking lot is very close to the entrance and it’s easy to go to and from your car. Bring your own personal gloves if you want. I wish I had mine. They provide gloves too.
Check in was fast and there was a scale to weight each member of our family. Make sure you read the requirements.
First we did zipline. My 8 year old son couldn’t do this because he didn’t weight enough. So he went to kids kove for awhile.
Kids kove/miners maze is an enclosed area and very safe. My 8 year old went off by himself and the staff said we could go do a course while my son played.
There were a few birthday parties so lots of kids were there. Lots of shade and lots of tables!
The zipline was very fun but lean back because the braking system for the zipline will stop you pretty suddenly and if your face is near your gear you might go forward and hit your face on the handles. Relax, lean back and hold on. It was very fun.
After the zipline you end up high on a covered platform and you go down the stairs. On the next level below us we did the easy level of the Aerial adventure (there are easy medium and hard) “easy” was scary and tough for us lol we ended up ziplining to end the aerial adventure.
Then we went to free fall. It was so scary and fun. Afterward we did Rappel and that was simple because I just slowly dropped down. With rappel you control the speed as you lower yourself from the cliff. I should have bounced off the cliff wall instead to make it more fun.
Then we did Via Ferratta meaning iron path in Italian. The iron path had 4 sections/exit points all along the quarry. If you did all 4 sections it might take 2hrs if your slow. We only did 2. It was hot and the iron bars in the rock wall was getting harder to grip because my grip strength is not that great. The iron bar ladders going up was hard for me. I thought I was gonna fall. It was scary lol but fun. The iron bar ladder had a backward tilt.you were leaning backwards and you had to keep a grip on the bars to keep going up. Hopefully that makes sense. It’s not like I had gravity on my side we’re my weight was on my feet. I had to hold myself up by my arms because I was leaning back with the rock wall.
There is a snack bar area and some merchandise for sale. I wish they had more durable magnets. I was able to buy one for our collection.
We didn’t do paddle boat but it’s a small little lake/pond/water hole. Very cute.
Over all great staff. Great experience. Great facility. Great equipment. One of the staff also played great music on their speakers. It was nice...
Read moreEdit* I am editing this review because the GENERAL MANAGER was kind enough to call me yesterday to inform me:
Who does this? Literally no business takes action this quick; and they did it less than 3 days after the birthday party- bravo you guys. Well done.

So overall we had a really great time at the park. This was our first time and everyone had a blast. A few things we thought could have gone better: Per the website birthday package list, it says we receive bottled water. Unfortunately we did not and had to coordinate to pick-up a package. Secondly, the zip line section for the littles caused a few concerns. Our birthday girl zip lined right into the large pole- the side that did not have padding or stoppers to slow her down. She hit her head pretty hard on the pole and left with a big bump. About an hour later, another kiddo did the same thing! I went to the employee on duty to let him know this was a liability and his response was “yeaaaaa. We’ve been thinking about adding something on that side.”
So- not only are you aware there is a safety issue here… but you have not proactively acted on addressing the situation? These are children slamming their heads into a giant pole?? Needless to say his response made me more upset. We woke up this morning (party was yesterday) and our birthday girl is still complaining about the bump on her head. Please add padding to that pole so that this does not happen to other kiddos.
With that said, this is a great park and we do intend...

We came to Quarry Park Adventures as a family, looking forward to an active and fun day, but unfortunately, we were met with apathetic and unprofessional behavior from the staff. We spent a significant amount of time waiting around with no clear instructions. For nearly an hour, we sat at the “Ground School” area, during which the instructor, a young woman responsible for providing safety instructions, completely ignored our children and failed to explain what we were supposed to do next.
Despite being the first to arrive and purchase tickets, we were not prioritized for the activities. No one approached us to check on our status or provide guidance. It seemed clear that the staff prioritized larger groups over individuals or smaller parties like ours.
The lack of organization and customer care was glaring. When I finally asked to speak to a supervisor and expressed my frustration, only then did the staff begin to take action. However, by this point, the damage was done. Even after completing the activities, we approached the cashier, and the supervisor came over with a vague and unconvincing apology.
The staff appeared disengaged and uninterested in ensuring guests had a positive experience. Despite having about ten employees present, none seemed to know what was happening or took responsibility. Trainers often dismissed inquiries with phrases like, “I’m just a trainer; I don’t know.”
Our children grew tired of the long wait, and we eventually lost interest in their services altogether. What was supposed to be an enjoyable family outing turned into a frustrating and disappointing day. We left feeling unsatisfied and with the impression that this place values profit over customer experience.
This was a very poor experience for us, and we do not recommend Quarry Park Adventures to others seeking a fun and well-organized activity for...
