Five Stars. I remember the old Rockville Mall of 1980. Back then there was basically a movie theater and a video game arcade, Funway Freeway! The place has changed a great deal over the years, for the better of course. The building that hosted the mall is now offices and what was a shopping center and parking lot is now the Town Center. Remember the co-op grocery store? Not there anymore. Plenty of restaurants and small shops. The Regal movie theater is great and has wide reclining seats. So comfy. There's a Potbelly, Starbucks, crepe restaurant, Panera, Thai restaurant, World of Beer, even a Dawn Crafting Dance Studio, a yogurt shop, a place to make crafts, and much more... Check...

As the weather changes and things start to move inside the Management here wants all the residents to have fun events to choose from. Every Wednesday they have a free event in the club room called WINE DOWN WEDNESDAY! Thanks to cruise director Robin. It could be a book reading and signing by the author, a stand up comedian or music! I now now look forward to the mid week fun that the Metropolitan provides its residents. This place is awesome. There is a lounge in the hotel that serves pre-prepared meals and wine/liquor. No mixed drinks. However, there are many eateries within walking distance offering a wide variety of cuisine.
