Van Horne Park — Attraction in Rocky Hill

Playground and multi use fields (little league, soccer) surrounded by 6' wide blacktop path. Gazebo with tables. Indoor bathrooms and porta potty. Path around field is 0.7mile and playground is in line of sight all the way around. 2 Shorter blacktop extensions (1 towards CVS and other toward Rocky Hill). Parking lot is up against the path, Tall grass and scrubby trees next to field so no shade and can be windy. Park benches. What a nice playground/park/walking path, just outside of Princeton. The airport across the street gives some interest to the park as well with frequent aircraft landings. The playground has equipment for young children (toddler sized) as well as older kids. There are clean bathrooms, a pavilion, grass fields for lacrosse, football, soccer, running around; and basketball courts too. The path around the park is great for walking, running, rollerblading, bicycle riding, etc and gives several different distance options. Van Horn park is grate for partys an picnics. It is a good place to have fun and a ton of family time.this park is so fun anf the park has a little kid side and a big kid side and i has 4 socor goals 4 lacross ball goals and 6 basketball hoops i loved this park when i lived by it,there is a Burger King up the road from it and a wawa ans shop right,and a ice cream place.i love this place i always have so much...
