Deducted a point due to the stupidity of the interior designer who did the wheelchair-accessible row stupidly. Every one of the theaters in this location I've been in, there are at least 5 spots for wheelchairs to park but only ONE where the wheelchair user can have able-bodied friends/family on both sides of them. I'm a wheelchair user AND hard of hearing, so I need the captioning device. The captioning device needs a cupholder. Accessibility wasn't well-thought-out by corporate. The staff at the theater are wonderful about it but there's only so much they can do. Web design for online ordering of tickets also makes it hard to tell visually which are the just-blank-floor-space wheelchair spots vs the "companion" spots next to them (the companion spots have the same symbol in the same color with a VERY small + sign added into the mix). Corporate really needs to get some ACTUAL DISABLED PEOPLE consulting them about how to do this stuff. The majority of people who cannot navigate the stairs are going to be able to (and WANT to) sit in the reclining seats. I've never seen another wheelchair user staying in their chair when I've been to this theater, and I've been to several sold-out shows. Those just-floor ticket-sellable spots then cannot be used by people who use walkers/rollators or are just unsteady enough on their feet that stairs are a bad idea, and so their access to screenings is restricted WHILE the theater is also missing out on ticket sales for those spaces that only someone who is staying in a wheelchair CAN use....
Read moreMy father, brother and I went to see Nobody. Movie was great the service on the other hand TERRIBLE. Me and my brother ordered the food while my dad was in the restroom . You give your cup to an employee to fill up and once my dad tried it he said it was funky. The guy 1 didn’t give him another drink even when we said the coke was clearly off or there was no syrup/ it was just flat. The guy literally said “ I don’t know what you want me to do about it” it’s not like he was trying to finesse another drink off the guy we spent over 100 dollars at this theater that day. My dad had to walk to the bar and get another drink. A few minutes later as we start to walk away from the bar my brother accidentally spills his popcorn. The employee gave my brother a broom and pan to clean up himself as he stood there watching. They did give us another popcorn as they should it’s a common mistake. But brother had no issue cleaning It up as he is in the service industry himself and it was his spill . But it’s just the principle and the lack of customer service? It’s unfortunate that this was our first movie experience together again after a...
Read moreI have been waiting to write this review.
I was a patron at this location on Saturday, December 17th 2022… roughly 4:30/5pm.
When I was there, a heavy-set Hispanic man—claiming to be the MANAGER—was yelling across the lobby to one of the workers. He was using extremely vulgar language and being inappropriate calling this young woman a “little girl” and saying she needs to “watch her mouth.” Mind you, I was there when this started and I physically witnessed this man poke his head out of the box office to join her conversation.
This is extremely unprofessional and created an awkward and unpleasant experience for my family and me.
As I was in the lobby I heard an atrocious racial slur come out of this man’s mouth that I am not comfortable saying here. Let’s just say it ended with a “hard r.”
I will never return to this location—or use AMC services EVER again because of this experience. This is a CORPORATE ORGANIZATION and the manager MUST be held responsible for his insolence.
It’s truly a shame what this company supports—racism, incompetence, and unprofessional manner in the workplace.
If I could leave no...
