I am a 68-year-old senior citizen and I had the most horrendous experience with Home Depot appliance home delivery. I ordered a new stove and upon delivery, the workers informed me that they could not get it through the doorway to my house. Rather than assist me with navigating the challenges of my doorway size, they gave me a form to sign or else they would take it back with them. I reluctantly signed the form, but was left alone with my stove on my porch. It turned out that all they needed to do to help me, was simply remove one screw and four control knobs from the stove which I would have done if they had just been patient.
I called my local Home Depot store only to be transferred a dozen times. When I finally got a manager on the phone, I was told it was my problem. When I told them, I wanted to file a complaint, Aaron said “Go ahead and make noise if you want to!” I called a neighbor, also a senior, and we were able to get the stove in with no problem.

I went to the Rocky River store and placed a delivery order and they had all the items in store except the toilets which is fine! The order was supposed to be delivered all at once from the Rocky River store. I called in to check on the order status because only 1 item was out for delivery and the rest was pending. They had no clue what I was talking about, the lady said the rest of the order is coming from brookoark when I placed the order at Rocky River, zero help over the phone, then she said the whole order will be delivered together, the she said they don't know why the order is not out yet. Zero help for real! And they keep delaying the order that is on the way! I'm sitting at home waiting in my driveway when I have a job to go to, because the lady cannot even check on the truck driver to see what's taking him forever when the order should have been delivered...
